How?? HOW?????
Dude, I swear, never once in my entire time of making a Bun native framework (Elysia) have I ever said Bun HTTP is not fast enough, it's already up there with the top dog
And they randomly drop 2.69x faster on some random Monday
My entire career in shambles rn
✨We are excited to open-source Tencent HY-Motion 1.0, a billion-parameter text-to-motion model built on the Diffusion Transformer (DiT) architecture and flow matching. Tencent HY-Motion 1.0 empowers developers and individual creators alike by transforming natural language into high-fidelity, fluid, and diverse 3D character animations, delivering exceptional instruction-following capabilities across a broad range of categories. The generated 3D animation assets can be seamlessly integrated into typical 3D animation pipelines.🎮🎥
Highlights:
🔹Billion-Scale DiT: Successfully scaled flow-matching DiT to 1B+ parameters, setting a new ceiling for instruction-following capability and generated motion quality.
🔹Full-Stage Training Strategy: The industry’s first motion generation model featuring a complete Pre-training → SFT → RL loop to optimize physical plausibility and semantic accuracy.
🔹Comprehensive Category Coverage: Features 200+ motion categories across 6 major classes—the most comprehensive in the industry, curated via a meticulous data pipeline.

Also, “it was vibe-coded” is a lazy excuse, and this sort of elitism is a major flaw of the security community.
1. I’ve seen similar issues with firebase as early as 2014ish
2. When we continuously blame devs for decades, and do nothing about it but expect things to change, we may be very stupid
3. The number of apps released by less technical people is going to significantly increase. Are we going to just ridicule them and blame them while millions of personal records get leaks, and do nothing else? We need to change the config defaults, AND revamp the dev experience and interface, so the risks are obvious and easy to understand, and the safest config is enabled by default.
4. Theres an opportunity here for LLMs to help guide less experienced devs to make the right decisions, so ultimately LLM-generated apps should actually be more secure than manually coded ones.
nvidia could do the most viral ai competition in history: start with 10,000 researchers and give each a free gpu to work on a public leaderboard but do rounds of elimination where the winners take the remaining hardware. the final winner gets all the gpus for a year.

I remember 15 years ago, I went to Haskell IRC to ask why I can't put different types in a list. spent the afternoon arguing, til someone said: "you're not ready to understand". logged off thinking they're all morons
I wasn't ready to understand
I loathe when people say working in cybersecurity doesn't require coding.
Sure, you can work at a cybersecurity company and be responsible for finance. But that's not the point! I think that whole mindset breeds incompetence.
You can’t break or secure what you don’t understand.
