Teta’s obsession with Havertz in midfield gotta be one of the weirdest things I’ve seen. Works in very limited circumstances, I don’t get how he keeps playing him there but won’t put Skelly there just once.
Reality is that Arsenal will always let you down when it matters most. Call me negative all you want, but I'm negative for a reason, this club lost to Birmingham City in a final ffs. So this is nothing
It’s not just Kepas error for the first goal that bothers me, even though he should COMFORTABLY catch it.
His general play cost us. He doesn’t have the passing range Raya has, and he took significant periods of time on the ball to allow City to recover energy and THEN press us. Mind blown.
I don’t have particularly strong feelings about this trophy BUT this game has the ability to completely derail our season mentally. There’s a reason Pep is celebrating like a madman.
Ben White doing what every single Arsenal supporter would have done there: whacking Rayan Cherki after the City midfielder played keepy-uppy on the touchline.
Just to put things into perspective
- This is our first loss in cup games all season.
- This is our fourth loss all season. We are in March.
- We are still 9 points ahead of City with just 7 games to go.
Don’t let one bad performance and result change the fact we are very very close to achieve something special this season.
Use this loss as a fuel to win the rest of the games.
When the club hit rock bottom, these two teenagers put us on their back.
Tonight, they both scored at the Bernabéu as Arsenal smashed the European champions 5-1 on aggregate.
Love them so much. ❤️
Declan Rice - “He (Jover) was telling me to cross it, Bukayo said if you feel it go for it”
So Saka’s responsible for Rice’s goal not Jover 😭😭 my Starboy !
