In today's tech landscape, it's hard to pinpoint a consumer tech and say this is the next smartphone - widespread, and become ubiquitous in just a few years. Not for spatial computing, nor for EVs. But will they one day? If so, Apple may find itself without an EV in its lineup.
During interview prep, I gradually realized that while qualifications and work experience length usually correlate, innate talent and skills in expression and demeanor can surpass the limits of work duration. Such details are often also the key factors to success.
Apple and Microsoft are almost the only two major big techs with a business model that almost solely relies on product sales. It's such a healthy model because the product quality of an iPhone or Office kit always drives sales. The appearance of ads on Windows broke this model.
