For those who recently lost money in the DISPUTE markets on @Polymarket . This is NOT your fault to lose. @UMAprotocol clearly has DIFFERENT standards when it comes to fitting rules, and this is the reason why we lost our money. Let's not discuss the clichéd notion of market manipulation for now, although it might be true. Let's talk about UMA's stance on rules, they clearly have a flexible stance in this regard.
Everyone saw Car turned $500 to $33,000 (10,000%) in one day in https://t.co/rhCTnLMrMM, and he attributes this to Reading. He claimed he discovering something others did not spot, then the market flipped from 1% → 100% after he bought 50K Yes shares at 1%. However, in other markets, the rules seem to be less important. In market https://t.co/UvVNJx8Tzc, UMAprotocol resolved the outcome to YES despite none of source YES side provided were fitting the Rule4.9.
I couldn’t help asking serious question to Ploymarket, Are these resolution criteria really resolution criteria? Or resolution criteria will only be taken into account when the outcome is beneficial to the Whales. What were these rules purposed for when the outcome only relying on the UMA’s voting result that against the reality? Is this some kind of double-thinking isn't it? Is your decentralized consensus a fraud, a form of irresponsible dictatorship?
In market https://t.co/ZfEoU9kiDw , I saw some unfriendly posts on social media, as if these were our fault. These snakes in grass said something such as “If you can’t read the resolution criteria, you’re just donating.”, “there is a clear sense of deliberate intent behind their actions.”, “people are down on their bags so it's in their own interest to fight for an exit and keep spamming comments with random shit to try and get out” that were totally nonsense and turned a blind eye to whales’ action though there is really a clear sense of deliberate intent behind whales’ actions. Why should we paid for the sins which are yours? And UMAprotocol is a lazy piglet lies on the market that is feeding in the trough. The only thing they cared about was how to get more risk-free gains as quickly as possible. So they will vote for the side which is more likely to reach a consensus, even though this “consensus” was established based on a single Whale purchasing a million shares. They never cares about facts and rules, even didn’t read the rules and the sources before they vote. Up to now, they still remain strangely silent about their voting results which were against the facts. (If these suspicious UMAprotocol are not actually those who purchased million shares in market)
I hope your home will be the Fire because of what you used to earn, and our stolen money will go do medicine for you, scammer.

@livchalos@SenBlumenthal Scam, the outcomes of the events are decided by how many UMA tokens you have staked... which means they control the result at the end, brand new accouts buy hundreds of thousands of shares at last min, this screams insider trading. While the rest lose money.
Hey @shayne_coplan
You’ve built - and continue to build - an excellent product.
But right now, there’s real chaos happening on a number of markets in @Polymarket
In the event https://t.co/czPscxm56R, UMA token stakers are currently voting on the outcome. It’s ridiculous that the fate of a market with $120 million in trading volume is being decided by holders of a token with a market cap of only $42 million.
If you subtract the exchanges and the team holdings, the actual stakers probably control no more than $20 million worth of tokens. And these holders who influence Polymarket resolutions are very likely participating in the bets themselves. That means the most interested parties are the ones deciding the outcome.
How can they possibly make a fair and honest decision when their own profits are on the line?
Is this really the kind of decentralization we were aiming for, Shayne?
It would be much better if you appointed 7 anonymous experts who would vote on disputed markets in a balanced and objective way - instead of letting random UMA token holders decide the fate of a billion-dollar platform!
By the way, I remember @Tyler_Did_It ran into a similar problem about a year ago.
Below, I’ll explain why this market should resolve as NO:
What actually happened on the evening of April 7, 2026:
•Around 6:30–7:00 PM ET, President Trump posted on Truth Social. He offered to suspend U.S. bombing and attacks on Iran for two weeks, but only if Iran agreed to the complete, immediate, and safe opening of the Strait of Hormuz. He called it a “double-sided ceasefire” and described Iran’s 10-point plan as a “workable basis for negotiations.” Trump added that most issues were nearly resolved and the two weeks would be used to finalize a full agreement.
•Iran’s Supreme National Security Council released its statement on April 8 (after midnight ET). They accepted the two-week ceasefire but framed it as a “great victory,” claiming the U.S. had fully accepted their 10-point plan.
Why this is NOT a full official agreement:
•It was a conditional, unilateral announcement by Trump — the pause in strikes depends on Iran immediately reopening the Strait.
•No signed joint document or official bilateral statement exists.
•The White House later clarified that Iran’s original 10-point plan was “fundamentally unserious,” “unacceptable,” and “thrown in the garbage.” What Trump called “workable” was a revised version negotiated via Pakistan.
•Both sides interpret the deal very differently (especially on sanctions, uranium enrichment, Lebanon, and U.S. troop withdrawal).
