Being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.

During her abstract presentation, titled “𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝘁𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝗥𝗛𝗥 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗖𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗰 𝗦𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗴𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮”, Ms @Nakibuukam Noor, Deputy Executive Director, CEHURD, raised concern over the growing legal uncertainty that is increasingly affecting sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR) advocacy.
She noted that vague legal language risks labelling legitimate advocacy as “disruptive,” creating fear and silence among young people. This shrinking civic space, she warned, directly threatens access to essential services and risks pushing young people back into silence and exclusion.
Ms Noor emphasized the need for resilient advocacy, strategic partnerships, and stronger coordination to sustain #SRHR work in restrictive environments. She called for collective action to shift political and legal environments to ensure continued service delivery.
She highlighted the importance of youth leadership and meaningful community participation, where young people are not just beneficiaries but active drivers of change.

Men have stories they never tell. silent battles, hidden struggles, unspoken pain.
What would make it easier for men to talk about mental health in our communities?
One conversation can change a life.

❝Uganda’s self-care journey demonstrates what can be achieved when political commitment, strategic planning, and strong partnerships come together. From HIV self-testing and self-injection technologies to policies grounded in dignity, access, and choice, we are empowering people to take charge of their health while building more resilient and responsive health systems.❞

❝Uganda’s digital-first approach is expanding access to accurate and reliable self-care information, particularly among young people. Through innovations such as the Self-Care Uganda App and a range of self-testing options, we are empowering individuals with the knowledge and tools they need to make informed decisions about their health. When information is accessible, health services become more accessible too.❞

@MinofHealthUG Worried that a good number of my Medical Intern friends may end up in Butabika because of the stress and pressure that accrues from working over 36hour schedule without a pay or motivation but they are expected to show up smiling to review patients.
Thank you

Men account for over 80% of suicide deaths globally.
Many men continue to suppress pain, and emotional struggles, which severely restricts early intervention.
We need to create an environment that encourages men to seek help and heal.
Bro to Bro
I hope you show up for yourself like you do for others. I hope you win the battles you tell no one about.
Stay disciplined, consistent and strong
Fruits are healthy foods. They are high in nutrients, water and energy.
We shouldn't shun them because they're high in fructose.
People have eaten fruit for centuries.
Only ensure you're physically active to use the energy they provide.
The fructose in fruit is only problematic in sedentary people and those with diabetes and insulin resistance.
So many young people newly diagnosed with Hypertension. No family history whatsoever. Definitely lifestyle and feeding.
You guys are not working out, and you're definitely not eating well.
