BREAKING NEWS: 22 Former international cricket captains have once again written a letter to Pakistan PM over the treatment for Imran Khan. They first wrote a similar letter in February and this one comes after Pak allegedly didn’t completely comply with SC directions.
They have laid down 3 demands:
1. That the medical board directed by the Supreme Court — including Mr Khan's own doctors — be permitted to complete a full and independent assessment of his health, particularly the reported loss of vision in his right eye.
2. That the weekly family visits reinstated by the Court be honoured without interruption or administrative delay.
3. That whatever the outcome of that medical assessment, the treatment recommended by it be provided without delay.

Three Indians - Kapil Dev, Sunil Gavaskar and Dilip Vengsarkar are among the 22 former captains.

The @imf_pakistan governance report specifically flagged sugar as an industry where political leadership manipulate the market to their advantage. The PM's family is one of the largest owner of sugar mills.

So what does disinformation minister Ata Tarar do; he goes ahead to defend how the govt is going to do the same thing again; export sugar so that prices can increase, and it can then import sugar again.

No wonder Mohsin Naqvi was compelled to announce that the system has collapsed.

The rights of political prisoners are universal, beyond Geography Government or political affiliation. Be it in India ,Pakistan or anywhere in the world, those incarcerated must be treated with dignity and humanity, with access to proper medical care, family and legal counsel, and due process.

Court orders must be respected and rule of law upheld. Political differences can never justify denying a prisoner his or her fundamental rights.

ویسے آپس کی بات ہے شریف اور زرداری خاندان نے قیادت اور استقامت کا لیول بہت ہی نیچے گرا رکھا ہے۔ یعنی نا صرف ملک سے فرار ہوئے۔ علاج معالجے کے نام پرفرار ہوئے۔ باہر جا کر کسی ہسپتال میں علاج نہیں کروایا۔ یعنی بیمار تھے ہی نہیں۔ اچھے کردار کی ضمانت کے طور پر سوشل میڈیا اکاونٹس بھی بند رکھے۔ فیض حمید کی دی ہوئی سہولیات اورموبائل فون وغیرہ استعمال کرتے رہے۔ اپنی پارٹی کے لیڈرز کے ذریعے معافیاں مانگتے رہے اور پھر جس فوج نے نکالا اسی فوج سے جعلی نشستیں لیکر اسمبلیوں اور کٹھ پتلی حکومت میں بھی بیٹھ گئے۔

دوسری طرف عمران خان ہے جس نے لیول ہی بہت اوپر اٹھا دیا ہے۔ نا ملک سے فرار ہوا ہے۔ دس مہینے کی سخت ترین قید تنہائی برداشت کرگیا۔ عدالتیں اسکی زبان بندی کی گارنٹیاں مانگتی ہیں۔ اقتدار نہیں شفاف الیکشن مانگتا ہے۔ حقیقی آزادی مانگتا ہے۔

یعنی بے غیرت سے بے غیرت تبصرہ پاڑ سارا زور لگا کر کوئی کمپیریزن ڈرا ہی نہیں کرسکتے۔ موازنہ ہو ہی نہیں سکتا۔
