Your ad blocker could fit behind your router.

meet ESP32-C3 AdBlock, an open-source DIY DNS ad blocker by ZedAxis, built around a roughly $2 ESP32-C3 Super Mini board

inside: 400 KB of RAM, 4 MB of flash, built-in Wi-Fi and a USB adapter, tucked into a printed case

no subscription

no browser extension

no separate power brick

plug it into your router’s USB port for power, connect over Wi-Fi and set it as your DNS server to block listed ad and tracker domains.

compact 40-bit hashes save RAM. a web dashboard lets you check blocked requests and add domains,

while open-source code and case files let you build your own.

follow for more hardware you can see working

I walk around and I see these boyfriends at dinner with their girlfriends in little triple and quadruple dates. The women are always having a blast and controling the conversation while the men sit politely and sip their beer, looking forward to the food, to paying the bill, to finally getting home. The weird part of it is that the boyfriends will look identical in style and demographic to another group of single guys howling laughing at a table nearby. You get the sense that even if they're all strangers, unfamilair +1s of the girlfriends, they'd be having a good time if you just siloed them away, because then they'd be able to speak freely and be relieved of the sense that they are preforming acceptable manhood in the interest of their gfs status in the friend group. When you're out with other couples, as a guy, there's often a silent aknowledgement between you and the other husbands or boyfriends that you are both presenting completely hollow versions of yourself to each other, and there's a quiet fondness about this, a sense that in another life you might be doing key bumps together in a tijuana strip club, but in this life you're playing cards against humanity and drinking rosé

POV: It’s 2:00 PM on a summer day. Your mom is taking a nap, the house is quiet and you’re wandering around trying to find something to do.

-Competent male hero
-Hot blonde woman
-No millennial “well THAT just happened” humor
-No insufferable licensed music(that I recognize)
-Unique animation style with an edge that looks right out of the 90s
-No quirk chunguses
-No children in sight anywhere in the trailer
-Gorgeous immersive backgrounds
-Awesome 1930s-40s space age aesthetic
-Actual murder and a dead body on screen
-Interesting alien designs

I’m actually… excited? Holy shit is this gonna be good???

Being a dev today using frontier AI feels like I'm playing Watson to Sherlock Holmes. I just stand back and go "my word holmes how did you deduce that" and occasionally stop him from getting shot

GitHub：https://t.co/R47oklr7St

Hindu comedian hears Christians and Muslims talk about God and tries to add them to the list.

“What does He look like?”
“Does He have special powers?”
“How do you talk to Him if you can’t see Him?”

His attempt to make sense of monotheism is hilarious.

Just a reminder that GLM 5.3 Flash, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, Qwen 3.8 Next Flash, and even Qwen 3.8 27B are all outperforming (in both intelligence and capabilities) every model that was considered "frontier intelligence" in Xmas 2025 (just 10 months ago)

Opensource AI is on fire

I used Codex to vibe code a game on my living room wall! I control it with my hand using computer vision + projection mapping 😁

I'll post a timelapse + my process in the replies!

We’ve received so much love for Qwen-Image-2.1 over the past 24 hours, thank you!! Also gotten a lot of questions about the license, especially around model outputs. So here’s the answer:

Outputs are not part of the licensed Materials. Users retain the rights to images and other content they generate using the model.

We can measure what part of the shelf gets customer attention without any additional hardware. Just your normal CCTV cameras and a digital twin made with the phone in your pocket.

@CactusXR will absolutely revolutionize how well stores can do their merchandising.

I love how Outlook deletes meeting emails the moment I hit accept. It’s a genius idea, because obviously I’ll never need the agenda, Zoom link, meeting details, or literally anything else from that email again. Truly incredible software.

I am done with this shit. It is over. The state of engineering right now is horrible. It has been half a month since I started a new role at a big company. Nobody knows anything here. The specs, code, tests, PRDs, tickets, resolution of those tickets, reports, etc., everything is made by Claude Code. Nobody on my team likes this. They are being forced to ship as much as they can. I have heard multiple times from higher management that pushing code is not a bottleneck, so why are we slow? People are working 12 to 13 hours a day just to press enter. Nobody is reading anything. Humans in corporate are doing nothing on their own. Everyone, literally everyone, from an L1 to an L7 engineer here is doing the same thing. Talk to Claude. There is no sense of victory. Nobody is resolving bugs. In reality, nobody is thinking anymore. Everything is done by LLMs. It is so soul-sucking. I would not mind it, to be honest, if we were at least given the time to check out the code and see what is going where. But no, the goal is to just ship. No matter what happens.
