As employee.I understand why we insist on WFHcomfort, time saving, peace, family timeall of that matters. But maybe we should also think beyond ourselves and understand how many other lives are connected this For us, it can be about comfort.for some drivers its about survival

It employees are earning in lakhs per year, have decent jobs, and for many of us survival is not the daily stress anymore. But a lot of local transport businesses depend on office culture continuing.

If permanent WFH increases again, many cab vendors and drivers will be financially affected. During lockdown, we even saw cases where drivers went into depression or committed suicide because their income completely stopped.

Rickshaw drivers, office cab vendors, bus operators — many of them survive on daily movement of employees. One of my friend’s fathers owns a cab. After EMI, maintenance, fuel, and vendor fees, the income left is just enough for survival.

@NalinisKitchen There are panic buttons in every cab , also sometimes people book small cab rather than required and force drivers to drop at location. Maybe he just double confirming the passengers
