@TOIBengaluru Few weeks back I was seeing such videos where vehicle suddenly falls off into ditch which were AI generated. Thanks to Governemt for making it real. Feels very relievd to live in reality :)
This is Balagere road, Varthur.
Water logging is a major problem at multiple locations in this road during rainy season. Please look into this.

Inspirations from Dadasaheb Phalke Awardee for the young minds…
More than cinema. More than success. A way of looking at life.
Chanakya University warmly congratulates Sri Anant Nag, one of the most celebrated actors of Kannada cinema, on being honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award, India’s highest honour in cinema.
In his reflections, Sri Anant Nag shared a profound thought-to consider India our Dharma Bhumi, and the place where we pursue our work as our Karma Bhumi.
In a special congratulatory message, Sri Prakash Belawadi @BelawadiBlr, renowned actor, director and theatre personality, and a member of Chanakya University’s International Advisory Council, brings this thought alive for the young.
For students, it offers an inspiring perspective: be rooted in who you are, learn deeply, and pursue excellence in whatever you choose to do.
A great career need not take us away from our roots. Our roots can give us the strength to reach further.
This is at the heart of Chanakya University’s vision-to nurture young minds who are rooted in India’s knowledge, values and heritage, yet equipped to question, create, lead and excel in a changing world.
From Dharma Bhumi to Karma Bhumi.
From learning to excellence.
From roots to a larger purpose.
An inspiration from a Dadasaheb Phalke Awardee, for a generation preparing to shape the future.
Congratulations, Sri Anant Nag

India does not need to resolve the entire boundary question before normalising relations with China, but China must not disturb the status quo: @ashokkkantha in conversation with @Zakka_Jacob
This video is Gold in the era of AI.
Hear from @prathoshap of IISc on how education and classrooms are being replaced by LLM and questions what classrooms should look like. What will happen when Markets collapses?

What is the purpose of higher education in the age of AI?
I had a very candid conversation with my students about pedagogy, universities, and what needs to change.
Sharing it here to hear what others think. The link for the full talk is in the first reply.
The ROOT OF TRUST of any exam is the teachers who set the question paper. We trust them for their integrity and honesty. As per reports in media regarding NEET paper leak, it is pointing to the question paper setters who are involved in the scam. Again it is disturbing to note from media that when CBSE launched the revaluation portal, there was an attempt by cyber criminals to bring down the same by pumping 3.8 million packets in a short duration. CBSE successfully handled this attack and the portal ran without a single disruption. What is a source of life problem for the student is a source of entertainment to these criminals. Fast justice is the only deterrent. The fast-track court announced by Hon’ble PM is welcome.

The Foreign Policy Dialogue New Ep out. I spoke to retired career diplomat and Former Ambassador to China @ashokkkantha about the big Trump-Xi Jinping Meeting in Beijing. Was it a G2 bargain or an uneasy truce or simply a reset? What were the key outcomes and differences? How did US and China approach the Taiwan question? Where does it leave the Quad security dialogue and India's strategic importance as a counter weight to an expansionist China in the Indo-Pacific? Where Amb Kantha stresses India needs to go back to the drawing room and revisit the external rebalancing of China.
For Chanakya University, it is a proud moment in the Space journey of Bharat. Chanakya Satellite Ground Station has successfully tracked @GalaxEye Space's newly launched Drishti satellite and captured telemetry from this groundbreaking OptoSAR satellite. We have successfully streamed it in real-time to the GalaxEye team, thus actively bridging the gap between academic capability and private space enterprise. Excellent work by everyone involved!

"These shifts converge to squeeze India's strategic space in ways that must be honestly reckoned with." Important piece by @ashokkkantha on why India now has a weaker hand against China, and five things New Delhi must do immediately.

ORR traffic collapsed at Ecospace. 500 route was a nightmare — BSK to Whitefield took 3 hrs. HSR to Ecospace (6KM) took 1 hr 45 mins.
Service lanes must be bus-only till Ecospace. 100% feasible, but no one wants to promote public transport. Who's responsibility?

Hello friends!
Here's the full-length podcast I recently did with @codetoculture, where we explore some of the most critical aspects of India’s space programme. We also delve into the strategic #SpaceVision2047 and the growing role of space assets in strengthening India’s defence preparedness. Do watch, share and let me know your thoughts:

Germany’s Chancellor Merz presented Trump the birth certificate of his German grandfather, Friedrich Trump.
It was a clever jab to remind Trump he’s a German immigrant.
Madivala Head Constable Narasimharaju staged a protest in front of Raj Bhavan against the suspension of Bengaluru Police Commissioner B. Dayanand sir..
Holding Dr. Ambedkar ji’s photo and wearing a black band, he demanded the suspension order be revoked, calling it demoralizing for the entire police force👏🏻🔥
He was later detained by Vidhana Soudha Police.
Brahmagupta was an ancient Indian mathematician and astronomer who lived in the 7th century CE. He made many important contributions to mathematics, especially in the fields of number theory, algebra, geometry, and trigonometry.
He introduced the concept and computation methods of zero as a number, and defined its properties and operations. He also recognized that any number divided by zero is infinity, and that zero has no reciprocal.
He developed a method of multiplication called “gomutrika”, which is similar to the modern lattice method. He also devised algorithms for finding square roots, cube roots, and solving linear and quadratic equations. He studied various types of indeterminate equations, such as the Pell’s equation, which is of the form x² - ny² = 1, where n is a given positive integer. He gave a general solution for this equation using a recursive method. He also found integer solutions for other equations of the form ax + by = c, where a, b, and c are given integers.
He discovered many formulas and theorems related to geometry and trigonometry, such as the Brahmagupta’s formula for the area of a cyclic quadrilateral, the Brahmagupta’s identity for the product of two sums of two squares, and the Brahmagupta’s theorem for the orthocenter of a cyclic quadrilateral. He also gave approximate values for pi and the sine function.
He wrote two influential works on mathematics and astronomy: the Brāhmasphuṭasiddhānta (The Opening of the Universe) and the Khandakhadyaka (The Edible Bite). These works contain many original ideas and insights that influenced later mathematicians and astronomers in India and beyond.
Brahmagupta was one of the greatest mathematicians of ancient India, and his legacy is still evident in modern mathematics.
B Dayananda is an upright, rare, dignified and efficient IPS officer. In the last two years, he has worked tirelessly to restore the credibility of @BlrCityPolice whose reputation had hit the rock bottom. Siddaramaiah Government has sacrificed him and some of his subordinates to save their chair. Despite police objections, government had allowed/organised two back to back events resulting in the death of 11 people. DK Shivakumar was leading the both. Should not @siddaramaiah and @DKShivakumar resign? Will the Congress high command act against them? What about the Home Minister? Siddaramaiah has committed a grave mistake and will pay a heavy political price for it. He is trying to save himself and DKS. Not so surprisingly his long time top aide @lkatheeq has also resigned a day before leading to a debate about a coterie running the CMO. @IPS_Association should fight for their own. Politicians can sacrifice anyone, IPS or IAS to ensure they stay in power. #stampedetragedy
