The ongoing conflict in the Middle East is having a profound impact on the tourism sector.
The repercussions are felt across various industries, including airlines, travel agencies, restaurants, hotels, taxi services, and medical and wellness tourism. Many livelihoods, particularly those of small and medium-sized enterprise (SME) owners, are at risk.
Reflecting on the lessons learned from the COVID-19 pandemic is essential, as some nations are still grappling with its lingering effects.
It is imperative to condemn the war in the Middle East and call for an immediate end to hostilities.
Tourism embodies peace, prosperity, joy, love, and harmony.

In 2010, I began my career in a tourism company based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This experience was significant as I worked with one of the largest tourism companies in the country right after graduation.
At that time, many questioned the existence of tourism as a viable industry, with some viewing it as a minor sector. However, my journey in this field has shown me the immense value and potential that tourism holds.
Tourism exists as long as we are alive.
