“Bro, we feed dogs so they don’t become aggressive and bite people.”
That’s not how canine behavior works.
Dogs have core behavioral needs: physical activity, mental stimulation, social interaction, and instinct-driven behaviors like exploring, sniffing, and foraging. When these needs aren’t met, theor energy gets redirected into problem behaviors such as barking, chasing, restlessness, and territorial aggression.
Earlier, these needs were naturally fulfilled. Dogs had to roam, search, and expend energy to find food, which regulated both their activity and behavior. You’ve replaced that with easy, concentrated feeding. The result isn’t calmer dogs, but dogs with unmet behavioral drives that now express themselves through chasing, barking, and guarding.
Feeding points don’t pacify dogs; they create territorial clusters, a well-known trigger for aggression and bite incidents.
And the bigger issue is the feeders' complete dismissal of human safety. Take this person, so convinced of his own “compassion” that he dumps food near a busy highway, where packs form and put drivers at risk. Try reasoning with him, and instead of showing compassion to your concerns, this compassionate man will come back with his NGO friends and threaten you.
Respected Sir/Madam,
I am a resident of Bhoirwadi area, under the jurisdiction of Maan Grampanchayat. The road near our area (Google Maps link: https://t.co/qCKEDAlvxx) has been broken and in a dangerously poor condition for over 4 years now.
@RatlamDRM@WesternRly The cleanliness at Ratlam Railway main platform needs urgent attention! Garbage and passenger waste litter the floors, making the environment unpleasant. Please take immediate action to improve hygiene for all passengers.
The money that we invest is already taxed heavily by the time it reaches our account.
Then we take risks and invest this taxed money.
If we realise losses, the government is not a party.
But if we realise the gains, the government wants a share of it.
This is just so unfair.
Tax on investment gains should be inversely proportional to the risk involved.
So, max tax should be on Bonds and FDs. And minimum on equity and Bitcoin.
Disappointed to find out that my voting slip wasn't generated & my name wasn't in the voters list for today's election. As a responsible citizen, I value my right to vote. @ECISVEEP, urgent action needed to rectify this issue & ensure all eligible voters can cast their votes.

According to a 2012 RTI filing, there were 8 Lakh people with more than 1 Cr in Agriculture income, who paid ZERO taxes in India.
[1] 1% farmers in India own more than 10 hectare of land. And, they are by no standards poor.
And, as per a paper by the erstwhile Planning Commission, if we could tax even 0.04% richest farmers, it would generate 50,000 Cr of tax gains.
[2] This money is enough to run the MGNREGA scheme for a year.
This post is not against farmers.
It is about getting the rich to pay their fair dues.
[3] It doesn't make much sense why a normal corporate employee making 25K/month should be carrying the burden of taxes for Crorepati farmers.
Widening the tax base would not hurt the government's revenues.
And, it would improve the life of a normal tax payer.
But, guess how many political parties are talking about it?

My 3 year old son and I burst some crackers yesterday.
This was the most 'fun' part for him during this Diwali.
I fondly remembered my childhood of burning crackers with my dad.
And, recalled numerous childhood memories.
It is sad that 'burning crackers' is now being associated with 'pollution' in Delhi/NCR. And, people are lecturing what others should/should not do.
This is not about being rightist or leftist, it is about being a rationalist. And, understanding that all of us have grown up following certain traditions.
And, all people should be allowed to follow those traditions without embroiling them in debates.
Yes, Delhi has air pollution issues.
Today, is day AFTER Diwali.
There is roughly 1 year to go till next Diwali.
Authorities should come up with a detailed plan. And, not look for last minute easy fixes: like odd-even or ban crackers.
This is like putting a band-aid on a broken hand.

Do you know that during dialysis, blood is removed from the body through the red tube, passed through the dialysis machine, and then reintroduced into the body system through the blue tube.
This process is repeated for four hours while the patient remains immobile in bed.
The procedure is carried out three times a week, which results in twelve times a month, and each time it takes four hours, which results in a total of forty-eight hours a month.
For those not affected, this process of flushing your kidneys occurs automatically 36 times every day with zero effort or discomfort.
While you are reading this, quit alcohol, quit processed foods, quit junky fries , quit unnecessary use of sugar and importantly hit the gym. All these are easier and cheaper options to keep your kidneys and liver fit.
Always be grateful for good health ❤️
2/2. Make the first platform operational for the Passengers entering from Queens Town side so that they don't have to cross the bridge and can directly board the train.
#AmritBharat_Chinchwad@drmpune
Respected Ma'am,
1/2. Request to consider installation of Elevators/Escalators on both sides of Chinchwad Railway Station to facilitate Elders and ease Passenger movement.
