@moritheil I should probably back out of this conversation now- as I don't want to snap like that again. That was uncool of me.

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil I apologize. I love debating, but my personal investment in this issue makes it hard to look at it without emotion.

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil Well, let's see. I could find a magic lamp and ask the genie inside to cure my depression, GAD, and PCOS. Any other ideas?

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil I don't like getting angry. But sometimes, anger (in moderation) is necessary.

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil then I will not have the motivation to act for the change I want to see.

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil I'm curious what you mean by "work on." In terms of activism? I have that covered. However, if I do not allow myself to be upset...

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil People have a hard time summarizing when they feel their life may be in danger. Surely you can forgive that.

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil We are a first-world country. We should not have to let our sick and elderly die in poverty because their country didn't take care of them.

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil If you want to talk resources, let's talk about how much this bill will add in terms of debt.

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil Let me rephrase: "Your right to cut health care stops at the point where it results in my death"

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil ...Are you talking eugenics here? Please say no.

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil side. Except for the wealthy. Can you really, genuinely make an argument for that? Your right to swing your fist stops at my nose.

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil meanwhile, there isn't really a gray area here. This takes away things that many people need to survive. There's no benefit on the other

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil The problem is, there was a gray area of "when does an embryo officially become a human" as well as life of the mother, etc...

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil Which is something people should do regardless of any religious preference.

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil I don't think it's being a robot in this case. It's called "not making a conscious choice to put many, many lives at risk."

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil In any other context, I would agree with you. But here, I think OP was simply expressing entirely justified anger through a religious lens.

[Gavin Newsom @GavinNewsom]

This is our new reality. I am sick to my stomach. https://t.co/wcu0tourhd

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

@moritheil Bruh. I love debating semantics just as much as you do- but what is your argument here? These guys chose how to vote- that's the point.

[aNya~n @yatsugares]

Because that's the choice I'll have to make if AHCA is implemented. Keep my apt, or not feel suicidal. That's what they voted for today.
