The Taabiee (student of the Sahaabah) Awn ibn Abdillaah ibn Utbah ibn Mas'ood said:
"They used to advise one another with three statements, writing them to each other:
Whoever works for Allah, Allah will suffice him against the people.
Whoever works for his Hereafter, Allah will take care of his worldly affairs for him.
Whoever corrects what is hidden within him, Allah the Most High will correct what he shows openly."
📙[Az-Zuhd by Ibn Abid-Dunyaa, 347]
The Prophet ﷺ said:
((O Uqbah ibn Aamir!
Keep ties with whoever cuts you off, give to whoever deprives you,
and pardon whoever wrongs you.))

🟣 Only Allah Knows What is in the Hearts
Yazeed bin Haaroon said about the great Imaam of Hadeeth, Shubah bin Hajjaaj:
"Had Shubah not sought Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, he would not have been raised up like this."
(in high status and respect)
Muqaddimatul-Jarh wat-Tadeel 1/171
This kind of praise for someone who is well known and loved, like a great scholar, is common.
Shaykh Mohammad AlAnjari, may Allah preserve him, clarified:
May Allah have mercy on Yazeed bin Haaroon and Shubah and give them both an abundant reward. They are from the Imams of Ahlus-Sunnah and leaders in the field of hadeeth, and they have great virtue in serving the Sunnah and defending it.
Despite their great status, sincerity is from the actions of the hearts whose reality no one knows except Allah. So we understand Yazeed's words to be a good opinion of Shubah.
It is more precise to say, "We consider him to have sought the Face of Allah," without stating in a way implying certainty about what is in his heart.
Umm Al-Alaa, may Allah be pleased with her, said at the death of Uthmaan bin Mathoon, "My testimony about you is that Allah has honored you."
So the Prophet ﷺ said:
((And what makes you know that Allah has honored him?))
And he ﷺ said: ((By Allah, I do hope good for him.))
[Narrated in Sahih Al-Bukhaari]
Anas, may Allah be pleased with him, said: "A man from among his Companions died, and a man said, 'Receive the good news of Paradise.'
So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
((Do you not know? Perhaps he spoke about what did not concern him, or was stingy with what would not have decreased him.))"
[Narrated by At-Tirmithi and declared authentic by Al-Albaani]

🟡 How to Understand the Criticism of this Worldly Life
Shaykh Abul-Abbaas Aadil Mansoor, may Allah grant him success and guide him to what is right, explained:
“What has come in criticism of this worldly life and its pleasures is not to be taken in an absolute sense. (meaning this worldly life is not completely blameworthy or to be rejected)
Rather, the criticism for this worldly life is for three things:
1️⃣ That a sin is committed for its sake.
2️⃣ That an obligatory act of obedience is abandoned for its sake.
3️⃣ That a person is distracted by it from the Hereafter.”

📣 Some Authentic Hadeeths About the Greatness of Allah’s Forgiveness
1️⃣ Abu Bakr As-Siddeeq, may Allah be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
((There is no slave who commits a sin, then purifies himself well, then stands and prays two rak'ahs, then seeks Allah's forgiveness, except that Allah forgives him.)) Then he ﷺ recited this verse: {And those who, when they commit an immoral sin or wrong themselves, remember Allah} to the end of the verse. [Surah Aal Imraan:135]
📗Abu Daawood reported it in As-Sunan (2/86, no. 1521). Al-Albaani declared it authentic in Saheehut-Targheeb wat-Tarheeb (2/271).
2️⃣ Abdullaah ibn Mas'ood, may Allah be pleased with him, said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
((Whoever says:
"I seek the forgiveness of Allah, the One who none has the right to be worshipped except Him, the Ever Living, the Sustainer of all that exists, and I repent to Him,"
أَسْتَغْفِرُ اللَّهَ الَّذِي لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا هُوَ الْحَيُّ الْقَيُّومُ، وَأَتُوبُ إِلَيْهِ
three times, his sins will be forgiven, even if he had fled from the battlefield.))
📕 Al-Haakim reported it in Al-Mustadrak alas-Saheehayn (2/128). Al-Haakim declared it authentic, and Ath-Thahabi agreed with him, and Al-Albaani declared it authentic in As-Silsilatus-Saheehah (6/506, no. 2727).
3️⃣ Abu Taweel Shatab Al-Mamdood narrated, that he came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and said:
"What do you think about a man who committed every sin and did not leave any of them, and in doing so he did not leave any minor sin or major sin except that he did it. Can he still repent?"
He ﷺ said: ((Have you accepted Islam?))
Abu Taweel said: "As for me, I testify that none has the right to be worshipped except Allah alone, without any partner, and that you are the Messenger of Allah."
He ﷺ said: ((Yes. You do good deeds and leave evil deeds, and Allah will turn all of them into good deeds for you.))
Abu Taweel said: "Even my acts of betrayal and my wicked sins?"
He ﷺ said: ((Yes.))
Abu Taweel said: "Allahu Akbar!"
And he kept saying "Allahu Akbar" until he went out of sight.
📙 At-Tabaraani reported it in Al-Mu'jamul-Kabeer (7/314, no. 7235). Al-Albaani declared it authentic in As-Silsilatus-Saheehah (7/1162, no. 3391).

Shaykhul-Islaam Ibn Taymiyyah, may Allah have mercy on him, said:
"Allah has high ranks in the Home of His Honour & Generosity (Jannah) that are only reached by the people of trials (difficult challenges).
So what Allah has legislated for the believers when they are struck by calamities, even if they are great, is that they say:
{Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we will return}."
إِنَّا لِلَّهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ

⚠️ Beware of Declaring People of Innovation to be Disbelievers
Imam Muhammad Naasirud-Deen Al-Albaani, may Allah have mercy on him, explained:
"The issue of the Speech of Allah and that it is not created, the seeing of Allah in the Hereafter, and Allah's rising over His Throne and His being above His creation:
believing in these is obligatory, and denying them is disbelief.
However, it is not permissible to declare as disbelievers those from Al-Mu’tazilah, Al-Khawaarij, and Al-Ashaa’irah who explained those attributes of Allah away due to a doubt that came to them,
except for the one whom the proof has been established and who then stubbornly persisted."
📘 As-Silsilah As-Saheehah (7/114)
He further clarified:
"The one who establishes the proof against them is the one who has knowledge and is firmly grounded in the Book and the Sunnah and the statements of the Righteous Predecessors."

💎Success in Following the Understanding of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with all of them
It is reported from the great scholar of hadeeth, Saalih ibn Kaysaan that he said:
"Az-Zuhri (Imaam Muhammad ibn Muslim ibn Shihaab Az-Zuhri) and I came together while we were seeking knowledge.
We said, 'Let us write down the Sunnah.'
So we wrote down what came from the Prophet ﷺ.
Then he said, 'Let us write down what came from his Companions, because it is Sunnah.'
I said, 'It is not Sunnah, so I will not write it down.'
So he wrote it down and I did not. He succeeded, and I lost out."
📚 This narration was reported by Abu Nu'aym in Hilyatul-Awliyaa, and Ath-Thahabi quoted it in Siyar A'laam An-Nubalaa.
Duaa Or Reading Quran❓
Shaykh Al-Fawzaan, may Allah preserve him, explained:
"Many people neglect supplication (duaa) between the adhaan and the iqaamah, and they busy themselves with reciting the Quran instead.
There is no doubt that reciting the Quran is a great deed. But reciting the Quran has other times.
Using this time for supplication and remembrance of Allah is better, because supplication that is tied to its specific time is better than general supplication.
Reciting the Quran is general and can be done at any time, while this time is specified for supplication.
So busying yourself with supplication, remembrance of Allah, and seeking forgiveness is better than reciting the Quran at this time.
This is something that people should be aware of."

🔲[From the Tremendous Virtues of Some of the Sahaabah]🔲
From Qabeesah ibn Jaabir, may Allah have mercy on him, who said:
“Shall I not tell you about those whose company I kept?
I kept the company of Umar ibn Al-Khattaab, may Allah be pleased with him, and I never saw a man with more understanding of the Book of Allah, nor better at studying it, than him.
And I kept the company of Talhah ibn Ubaydillaah, may Allah be pleased with him, and I never saw anyone who gave away large amounts of wealth without being asked, as he did.
And I kept the company of Amr ibn Al-Aas, may Allah be pleased with him, and I never saw anyone with a purer sharpness of mind [meaning: intelligence of the heart], nor stronger endurance, than him.
And I kept the company of Mu'aawiyah, may Allah be pleased with him, and I never saw a man with greater forbearance, nor more nobility and leadership, nor more far-reaching patience, nor a gentler way of getting out of difficulties, than him.
And I kept the company of Al-Mugheerah ibn Shu'bah, may Allah be pleased with him, and I never saw a man more attentive when it came to knowing matters. If there were a city with gates, and one could only get out of each gate by cleverness, he would have gotten out of all of its gates.
And I kept the company of Ziyaad [ibn Ubayd Ath-Thaqafee], and I never saw anyone more generous as a companion to sit with, nor more abundant in goodness as a friend, than him.”
📚 Al-Bukhaaree narrated it in his "At-Taareekh Al-Kabeer" (7/175), At-Tabaraanee in the book "Al-Jood was-Sakhaa" (4) and the wording is his, and Ibn Khuzaymah in his "Saheeh" (135) in an abridged form with an authentic chain, and Al-Fasawee narrated it through another route in "Al-Ma'rifah wat-Taareekh" (1/457)
➡️ From the benefits of this narration:
▪️It is from the blessings of Allah, may He be Exalted, upon the slave that He provides him with a companion upon the Sunnah who helps him upon it. Companionship brings out what a companion is truly made of. So the worst of trials is the two-faced person, or the one who changes who he is on the inside, or the one whose heart is diseased with envy and wanting for others to slip.
▪️The virtue of Umar ibn Al-Khattaab, may Allah be pleased with him, because of what Allah, may He be Exalted, gave him of understanding and knowledge of the Quran and the Sunnah. So whoever gives attention to the understanding of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, has purified their self and has won plentiful knowledge, unlike the blind followers and those who are fanatical about madhhab partisanship, who turn away from the evidences except what agrees with their madhhab, until their minds became narrow, their knowledge became short, and abundant knowledge passed them by.
▪️A refutation of those who hate the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them, especially the people of revolutions and rebellion against the rulers. How much they have lied about Mu'aawiyah and Amr ibn Al-Aas, may Allah be pleased with them both, while their virtue in following the Sunnah, fulfilling the trust, and being just between the people is well known by the agreement of the Companions, may Allah be pleased with them. But the people of revolutions only increase in rage and fury because they are not pleased with the decree and predestination (qadar) of Allah.

👉 Love for the Prophet’s ﷺ Companions
It is reported that Imaam Ayyoob As-Sakhtiyaanee (died 131h), may Allah have mercy upon him, said:
"Whoever loves Abu Bakr has established the religion,
and whoever loves Umar has made the path clear,
and whoever loves Uthmaan has been illuminated by the light of Allah,
and whoever loves Ali has taken hold of the most trustworthy handhold,
and whoever speaks well of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ
is free from hypocrisy."

💎Teaching Your Children Manners
Shaykh AbdurRahman Ibn Sa’dee (may Allah have mercy on him) explained:
"Good manners are better for children, both in their present and in their future, than giving them gold and silver."
[Bahjatu Quloobil-Abraar, 197]
📣The Blessing of Safety & Security
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
((Whoever among you wakes up in the morning safe in his home, healthy in his body, and having his food for that day, then it is as if the whole world has been gathered for him.))
As-Silsilatus-Saheehah (5/408)
=====
Al-Mubaarakfoori, may Allah have mercy on him, said in his explanation of this hadeeth:
"His ﷺ saying: ((Whoever among you wakes up in the morning)) means: O you believers.
((Safe)) means: not fearing any enemy.
((In his sirb)) means: in himself.
It was also said that as-sirb means the group, so the meaning is: among his family and dependents. It was also said that it means: in his path and way. And it was also said that it means: in his house. And At-Toorbishti said:
((Healthy)) (mu'aafaa) meaning: sound and free from illnesses and diseases.
((In his body)) means: his body, outwardly and inwardly.
((Having his food for that day)) means: enough food to suffice him, from a halal source.
((Then it is as if the world has been gathered for him in its entirety)). Al-Qaari said: meaning, all of it…. it is as if he has been given the whole world."
📗 Tuhfatul-Ahwathee (7/11)
=====
And Al-Manaawi, may Allah have mercy on him, explained:
"This means: whoever Allah has granted health in his body, safety in his heart wherever he goes, a sufficient living with his food for that day, and the wellbeing of his family, then Allah has gathered for him all of the blessings that even someone who owns the whole world would not gain anything beyond. So he should not begin that day of his except with being thankful for these blessings, by using them in obedience to the One who gave them, not in disobedience, and by never slacking in remembering Him.

🚫Terrible Danger of Cursing a Believer🚫
Sheikh AbdulAziz bin Baz, May Allah have mercy upon him, explained:
“A man cursing his wife is an EVIL act and one of the MAJOR SINS, and the same goes for him cursing other people. Cursing is one of the MAJOR SINS, and it is not permissible for a Muslim to do that to his Muslim brothers [or sisters]. It has been authentically reported from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that he said: ((Cursing a believer is like KILLING him.)) This shows how serious the danger is, to the point that he likened it to KILLING, which shows that it is one of the MAJOR SINS.”
- from the Shaikh’s official website
==========
Cursing, such as saying “la’anaka Allah” (may Allah curse you), or “la’anahu Allah” (may Allah curse him), is essentially a duaa or prayer that someone be distanced from the Mercy of Allah
👉 A Brief Summary of the Differences Between the Scholar and the Ruler in Islam
1. The ruler has a pledge of allegiance (bay'ah) given to him, and no one else has a pledge of allegiance: not a scholar, nor anyone else, not a shaykh of a Sufi order, nor a leader of a group.
2. The prescribed punishments, and all types of penalties are in the hand of the ruler, not the scholar.
3. Patience with the ruler is obligatory: ((even if he beats your back and takes your wealth)). As for the scholar, that is not obligatory. Rather, one has the right to complain about him and to seek retribution from him.
4. It is obligatory to advise the ruler secretly, due to the narrations about that. As for the scholar, it is not obligatory that advising him and clarifying his mistake be done in secret, and the evidences for this are many.
5. It is not permissible for there to be more than one ruler in a land. Rather, the ruler in authority is one, and the rest are his helpers and deputies. The Prophet ﷺ said: ((Whoever comes to you while your affair is united under one man among you...)). And he ﷺ said: ((Fulfill the pledge of the first, then the one after)), and ((...so kill the second of them)).
The scholar is not like this. The legislated aim is that scholars be many and numerous in a single land, so that they may benefit the people and teach them. There is no such thing as one single scholar whom it is not permissible to ask anyone else besides him.
6. The ruler has deputies: regional ones, such as the governors of the provinces, or ministers and those like them. They are due the rights, and the privacy in advising, that befits them, and that their standing in society be preserved.
As for the scholar, he does not have deputies, neither over places, nor states, nor lands, nor anything else. Rather, he has students who learn from him and who may even benefit him, just as they also learn from others besides him.
7. Jihaad is among the rulings of governance that belong specifically to the ruler: calling to it, mobilizing the people for it, making a truce, and other than that.
It is not permissible for a scholar, nor anyone else, to contend with him regarding what belongs exclusively to his authority in the matter of jihaad, to go to war with a disbelieving government, or the Khawaarij, or the rebels, due to the hadeeth: ((The Imaam is a shield...)) and other evidences.
8. The collecting of zakaah belongs to the ruler, not to the scholar. If the charities are paid to the ruler, the obligation is complete, even if he does not place them in their rightful channels. And if he requests the zakaah, it becomes binding to pay it to him, unlike the case with the scholar.
9. The scholar knows the ruling and gives a verdict based on it without compelling anyone. As for the ruler, he compels. This is why the judgment of a judge is binding, unlike a scholar who gives verdicts, because the judge is authorized by and is a deputy of the ruler.
10. Domestic and foreign policy belong to the ruler, and it is his exclusive domain. The scholar or anyone else is not like this, so it is not permissible to contend with the ruler in that,
And whoever sees something that calls for advising the ruler in authority, it is obligatory upon him to deliver the advice privately, the legislated way.
11. The ruler must have informants through which he protects security and uncovers the enemy, due to evidences laid out, and he takes up the means that guarantee that.
As for the scholar, he does not have the right to send spies to pursue people in their homes, gatherings, devices, and private sites, as has happened from some people by hacking and breaking in for these purposes by the command of such and such shaykh.
And other matters like this.
Whoever looks into the texts and into the reality of the Salaf, this will become clear to him.
And Allah is the Granter of success.
