@alice_und_bob I haven’t scoped out what scalable email on Polkadot would look like to be fair, but my gut is that it’s “possible but difficult/low ROI” whereas in jam it might be a weekend project once the middleware for building apps using regular programming is built out. But let’s see!

@alice_und_bob It’s a better engine but also far less opinionated on architecture. Services are extremely generic. There’s also the potential to write applications in regular languages with regular data structures etc, which opens up design space significantly. Among other benefits

This is possibly because an AI is inherently a heavily trust-based system and a (well-built) blockchain is inherently trust-less. How do you see trustless technologies interfacing and evolving with the rise of AIs in the near and distant future?

Blockchains seem to have a potentially unique ability to buffer some of the more negative aspects of a future artificial general intelligence. For example, decentralized identity networks vs rampant impersonation by AI.
