*First National Study on UK Muslim Converts Since 2001 is Now Live!* 📖 ☪️
The *Islamic Education and Research Academy (iERA)* and *Convert Muslim Foundation (CMF)* have commissioned a nationwide study, led by the *Ayaan Institute*, to better understand conversion to Islam in Britain, and *you 🫵 are invited to be part of it!*
This study, launched today promises to solve one of Britain’s most underreported religious shifts: the rapid, quiet growth of the country’s Muslim convert population.
While government data tracks ethnicity and traditional faiths, there is currently no reliable national dataset on people who embrace Islam. Estimates vary from 30,000 to over 150,000.
We’re _gathering real, honest experiences of Muslim converts_ today to:
• *Map* an accurate national picture 📊
• *Understand* their journeys 🌟
• *Build* for their needs 🤲

@Ibn_Asad2 This is evil, disgusting, racism from Trump, openly targeting the Somali community. It is collective punishment, and I'm sure it is in part tied to a vindictive attack against Ilhan Omar. Any person with with even a grain of decency should oppose this.
@ammarkazmi Yes. At the moment, the Green Party looks like the only left alternative to Your Party. That said, Ayoub Khan has provided good leadership in Birmingham over the Aston Villa match.
Shameful. The famalies of British citizens snatched by Israel in International waters as part of the #Gaza aid flotilla are desperate to know they’re safe and not being subjected to degrading treatment, as reported by eyewitnesses. This is another dereliction of duty by UK gov.
Prof. @JonathanACBrown is currently being investigated (and has been relieved of his position at @Georgetown) because of a Zionist-led witch hunt against him due to a tweet that was clearly attempting to demonstrate that violence doesn't result in peace. Regardless of whether one believes the sarcasm in his tweet was wise or not, the double-standards of 'investigating' someone who showcases Israeli violences, while ignoring the thousands of voices that call for Palestinian extermination and who cheer the Israeli genocide is hypocritical and damning.
Why is one side justified in its violences and bombing, and the other side not? That is the point of the professor's tweet, and it is a valid question that needs to be asked. Feel free to engage in dialogue, and to answer that question with facts, but placing a tenured professor on academic leave for speech that might be provocative goes against everything that the academy allegedly stands for.
Today, after 14 years, I’m resigning from the Labour Party.

🚨🇮🇱🇫🇷BREAKING: Israel is threatening EU Parliment member Rima Hassan- “I’ll smash your head against the wall”- and other activists of the Madleen Freedom Flotilla:
Testimony of Al Jazeera journalist Omar Faiad, who has just been released said that Israel is threatening activists who refuse to sign the “papers”.
“For example, MP Rima Hassan is still there.
She refuses to sign the papers and was directly threatened by an officer who said:
“I’ll smash your head against the wall if you don’t sign. We’ll handle this our own way.””
‼️“I don’t want my father to die! It’s over, there won’t be any smile anymore. It’s all gone.” These were the words of Layan al-Daghma, the daughter of Khaled al-Daghma, who was killed today at the so-called “Fish Fresh” aid point in Rafah, run by the Gaza “Humanitarian” Foundation.
Khaled had gone out to help transport people so they could get food for their starving families. He came back in a body bag. His daughter cried that they had been starving for three months, and now she wishes it had been her instead. The Foundation, falsely presented as an aid initiative, is being used by the Israeli occupation as a tool of control and humiliation, drawing desperate people into deadly traps instead of delivering real aid.
Similar incidents have been happening every day at all GHF points. Today, multiple casualties were reported at the Netzarim point as well. So far, 9 martyrs have been confirmed at the Fish Fresh point, with more arriving.
