I was born an underdog. 21 surgeries by the age of 12 for spina bifida. A kid wearing goodwill hand-me-downs. I knew nothing would come easy, but I never doubted my right to the American dream.
Now, I'm running for the U.S. Senate to make sure all Iowans have a shot at theirs.
Since we passed the Affordable Care Act, Republicans have tried over and over to repeal it. And over and over, they’ve failed — in part because millions of people now depend on the ACA for quality, affordable health care.
Now Republicans are trying something different: quietly weakening the law and hoping you won’t notice. We can’t let them.
The Fourth of July is about celebrating the big, bold, inclusive experiment that is our American democracy. And it has always been an experiment. Our democracy has never been guaranteed, which means we can’t take it for granted. We need to keep fighting for it, keep improving it, and keep making sure it reflects the better angels of our nature instead of the worst. That, more than anything, is what America is all about.
BREAKING: Here is the clip where Donald Trump’s Chief of Staff admitted that Donald Trump called our Veterans “Suckers and Losers”. Spread it everywhere.
“I don’t walk as easily as I used to. I don’t speak as smoothly as I used to. I don’t debate as well as I used to, but I know what I do know. I know how to tell the truth. I know right from wrong. I know how to do this job.”
Exactly the right message.

I have another account @yeah_that_cat that has been on Twitter for almost 14 years. It is likely we will be leaving soon.
My question is where are those leaving congregating now? #RIPTwitter
Is it strange that blue waves turn into tsunamis and red waves turn into crimson tides. (aka "red tide", phenomenon known to kill fish in the Gulf of Mexico, just south Alabama. It's a form of harmful algal bloom.

@TexasMomma1010 @JoJoFromJerz@FBI $1400 per person on a standard size bus, seating about 46 to 56 people, or about $64-78k. After fuel, maintenance and the driver's wages, that's possibly $50-65k in net revenue. So petty graft could easily amount to $2-3k per busload!
