This afternoon, Year 5 have had a wonderful discussion during RE on ‘destiny’ and they made fantastic destiny spirals full of their hopes and dreams. We most definitely have high expectations of Year 5 and we are so pleased to know that they are destined for success!
Y5 created some wonderful artistic masterpieces using the reduction method of printing. They layered their designs on polystyrene blocks, to create an improvised version of Natalia Moroz’ famous water scene. Watch out Natalia!
Huge congratulations and well done to @year6phoenix and @class7phoenix, Mrs Easom and Mr Kavanagh for their amazing efforts, talents and wonderful Y6 Leavers Festival this week! Y5 wish you the best of luck in your new secondary schools 🥰
So impressed with our choir today and their first performance. Even though it didn’t all go to plan, they absolutely smashed it and showed everyone what resilient, confident performers they are! Well done everyone! @year4phoenix@year3phoenix@year5phoenix @year6phoenix
Reception visited Wharncliffe Allotment today, a hidden gem in the heart of Old Swan. Mrs Bentley was amazing and planned lots for us. Digging for potatoes, picking strawberries, and holding worms! I am proud to be your Teacher you truly blow my socks off Reception!
The power of young people!
This is what can be achieved when engaging pupils in important conversation issues and putting that at the heart of curriculum. Young people who are passionate about making a difference and putting their learning into practise.
