@Muninn Had no idea you were from Norway. Yeah, Trump saying stupid shit again. America could learn a lot from the scandinavian countries and visa versa.
Maybe after January but if you think trump will just hang out from November until then knowing he’s gonna be a lame duck and he’ll be further humiliated I don’t think you know trump. In that scenario, I think it’s way more likely he does one more shock and aw bombing campaign so he can declare victory and pull out
@r_common_sense@SimoMKUltra7@remarks My company acquired a Swedish company and we brought over all the engineers. Over time about slightly more than half have gone back to Sweden and they were highly educated and high earners. A small sample I know but still maybe useful
@r_common_sense@SimoMKUltra7@remarks Covered by my employer so that’s fine. But I’m planning on retiring early and that leaves a big gap especially since I have children as well.
@TheBox408@r_common_sense@remarks That’s not true at all especially if you live in a hcol area. Quality of life is better in Sweden for most people. If your the top 1% of wage earners (which I am) then the US is probably better. Otherwise Sweden would be a better place for me.
I have Swedish and American citizenship and both countries have their own unique advantages and disadvantages. The taxes in Sweden do suck but living in California makes my taxable income almost the same and at least some of the government services there are a bit better. If we had two more months of nicer weather in Sweden I’d probably stay there 😂
lol, Europe will not be fine. You have no energy, no defense, and no manufacturing. Instead of trying to become energy independent for the past decade, you’ve played the charade of going green, which resulted in a dependency on Russia. Your demographics have shifted so much you are unrecognizable. Europe will become a museum.
