We do have different norms back then that we stopped acting it nowadays as time goes by ! Information is everything!The whole of Africa eats porridge as a cultural food from ugali in Nairobi and east Africa , matoke Uganda , Pap in Southern Africa and fufu in west and central Africa ! That’s porridge with chicken , goat meat , steak and veggies alike ! The eat it not because they are broke rich people too eat it enjoying it ! Oat meal might equals to ‘ Muk ‘ my father never ate any of this but I do as I have found myself in most of those countries
