There was a 45.7% increase in families counted in 2020. This year we reached more unsheltered families creating a more accurate baseline for unsheltered families. The overall increase is a cause for concern and reflects the intensifying financial pressures on low-income families.

LAHSA Commission Chair Sarah Dusseault stopped by a Project Roomkey site with welcome packages she and her friend created for our clients. The packages included books, magazines, and other items to help our clients enjoy their downtime at the hotels.
