RIP Solopreneurs?

We're about to see the solopreneur evolve into something way bigger

And I'll tell you how it plays out

Founders aren't in awe of venture capital as they used to be. I remember watching The Social Network and thinking I wanted to raise VC.

And then I learned a valuable lesson:

You might have a small chance at changing the world, but your bank account probably wont

Meanwhile the solopreneur dream is thriving.

The solopreneur philosophy:

Build an audience, launch a product, let the cash flow.

But, plot twist: Solopreneur life is more of a hustle than most would like to admit.

Unpopular opinion:

Realistically, you're swapping the rat race for the mouse race.

It's lonely, it's a grind. It's well... solo. And the delegating helps scale. I'm not talking Google-size scale, but there is a happy medium between Google and going solo.

My forecast: Solopreneurs are just "multipreneurs" in the making.

and top creators will be the most succesful multipreneurs

Multipreneurs are people who create a company that creates companies. I've been writing about it a lot.

1. Build audience
2. Create community
3. Experiment with product
4. Turn product into company
5. Hire operator to manage
6. Turn into a holding company
7. Repeat

Side note: when you look at Zuckerberg with Meta, he's a king at multiple products too. Whatsapp, IG, FB. Add diversification, cash flow.

5 forecasts for the Multipreneur age:

1. Welcome to the 'Creator Franchise.' They're not just running businesses, they're franchising their brands.

2. Enter the 'Micro-Acquisition Multipreneurs.' Building and buying businesses, creating a suite of micro-empires.

3. 'Community-Driven Venture Creation' emerges. Multipreneurs tapping into their community's collective IQ for venture creation.

4. Multipreneurs become masters of 'Resilience Engineering.' Economic shocks, societal shifts? They're ready.

5. The 'Bootstrap Renaissance' era begins. Bootstrapping is a strategic growth tool, not a survival tactic. The future's community-funded, not VC-backed.

This multipreneur age? It fires me up.
