I've been porting a Unity game to a three.js-based engine I built myself. It runs in the browser.
There's still a lot to do, but I'm adding the features I need one by one. You might wonder if this is even necessary, but I started it because web-based work means I can open it anywhere, not just on my home PC, and check the result easily. Implementation speed also feels faster.
