“When I saw #WuLei , I was amazed. He is such a refreshing young actor, and in his eyes, you can see sincerity, purity, and goodness” ✨
It’s clear that the senior artists who have worked with him truly admire young actors like Wu Lei, whose dedication and drive for growth stand out☺️
Ps: They previously collaborated on the 2018 film Asura
WuLei having a very cordial chat with one of his onscreen mothers, the great Michelle Yeoh herself!
Yup! They worked together as mother and son when 15-yr-old WuLei reprised his original beloved mythical god character Nezha that launched his acting career when he was only 5 yrs old.
"The Legend of Nezha" follows the life of a young teen Nezha and the challenges and growth that he had to go through with his family. It was a 2016 star-studded live action film that was never released because the production company was rumored to have mismanaged the funds causing the film crew to not be paid the full amount that they have worked hard for.
I remember reading from past fans' recount of events saying that in the end Michelle Yeoh hugged and said goodbye to the young 15-yr-old WuLei encouraging him to keep working hard as an actor and to not be discouraged by setbacks along the way.
WuLei is only 26 yrs old now, but his 21 yrs of acting career in the cutthroat C-ent industry did not come on a silver platter. It was generously peppered with literal blood, sweat, and tears. And the fact that he remains very much loved and respected by the general public and his peers, as much as he is highly commended and recognized by the government itself, speaks volumes about his status as a young veteran actor known not only for his talent, professionalism, and tenacity, but also for his exemplary character.
Wu Lei told Michelle Yeoh, “没有女朋友”(No girlfriend)
//Now I’m dying to know what they were talking about—how close are these two? 😆
Ps: They once played mother and son in The Legend of Nezha (2016)

Did you know there was an era when the jimusho double-debuted Ryo & Uchi? They actively released music, toured, did variety shows etc with both groups!!
Eito was formed first, so when RyoUchi suddenly debuted with NEWS, everyone thought that was the end for Eito 💀 What a time
According to a report by China Youth Online (中青在线), actor #WuLei gave an interview marking the second anniversary of the “Weight Management Year” initiative, launched jointly by China’s National Health Commission and 16 other government agencies
Wu Lei shared that many young people around him no longer rely on extreme dieting to lose weight. Instead, they focus on balanced nutrition and healthy eating habits. He himself often prepares well-portioned, nutritious meals to ensure a proper balance of nutrients
He also mentioned the documentary reality show #RideNow , which aims to inspire people to exercise more and incorporate physical activity into their daily lives
When asked how he balances work and self-care, Wu Lei explained that he does not view exercise as an additional obligation. Rather, he sees it as a way to relieve stress and unwind from the pressures of work. He also emphasized that getting sufficient, high-quality sleep is just as important for maintaining overall health and well-being

Ryo clarified he meant removing the mole on his back & not his the ones on his face. he even got a free consultation from the audience lol
A cyclist who followed Wu Lei’s journey around Hainan and documented it on XHS shared several observations:
1. Admiration for Wu Lei’s determination and strength
The author was deeply impressed by Wu Lei’s charisma, resilience, and unwavering determination while cycling through Hainan’s challenging weather conditions. To them, his perseverance and strong mindset are proof that he has the potential to succeed in whatever he chooses to pursue in the future
2. The kindness and respect shown by passersby
The people who encountered him were remarkably considerate and respectful of his privacy. In fact, comments under many videos often reminded others, “Please don’t disturb him” Although countless people were trying to spot him—and many would jokingly call out “Wu Lei!” whenever they saw a cyclist—those who genuinely met him usually did nothing more than greet him, offer words of encouragement, give him a thumbs-up, or ride alongside him briefly. They did so without interrupting or intruding on his journey
3. The professionalism of the staff. The support team arranged a support vehicle to ensure his safety and help film the vlog. The staff maintained an appropriate distance at all times, sometimes following from afar and sometimes driving ahead to wait at the next stop. There was no unnecessary display of authority, nor did they block roads or prevent ordinary people from approaching him naturally
In conclusion, the author described the trip as “good people meeting good people.” The journey created countless warm and heartfelt encounters, leaving a lasting impression on everyone involved. It was, in every sense, something genuinely beautiful🚴♀️
