@DocPriyamMD Dr can you please throw light on the hot food delivered through plastic containers. Getting food through such containers is prevalent now and I don’t think proper guidelines (if exist) are being followed by the restaurants.
@VaradBhatkhande Have you visited the stations on this line? Access infrastructure is still under construction or ignored at all. Staring trains with this infra is actually risk for commuters.
@WeekendInvestng While the USA and China negotiate to maintain their positions in the emerging global power game, India is still struggling with the same issues it faced 50 years ago.
It is no wonder that brain drain is happening and the wealthy are relocating for a better life.
Letting go of term insurance before 45–50 just because someone believes they have achieved financial freedom can be risky. One black swan event can dent the corpus by 40–50%, and in case of untimely death, how will the family sustain and manage that reduced amount?
Similarly, calling it financial independence while staying on rent forever—fully dependent on a landlord’s decision—raises questions about long-term security. Real life does not always follow textbook assumptions.
Financial advice shared publicly should factor in real-world risks and responsibilities
Steady outflows from ELSS category this year. Number of folios also coming down.
This trend could accelerate in the coming years. ELSS seems to be an early casualty of the new tax regime.

Is tax Savings MF (ELSS) category dying slowly?
As per the latest AMFI July 2024 data, Net outflow is Rs 637 Cr.
Low income earners opting for a new tax regime and PF contribution alone covers 80C for high earners. So very small set of investors requires ELSS to fulfill the 80C shortfall. @ActusDei
A client recently shared an insurance plan details. Regular cash flow from next month and good maturity amount after 25 years. She asked, Why don’t you suggest such nice solutions?
We calculated the XIRR. It came to 5.89%. She was surprised.
On paper, the plan looked great — steady payouts with long-term promise. But when we looked at actual returns, the story was different. She was happy she had invested most of her savings in mutual funds instead.
Nice-looking plans aren’t always good investments.
@BaluGorade professional FMs who work within a disciplined framework, backed by research teams and strong processes will always do better than individuals. Couple of years after Covid were outliers.
@cIndraneel@PuneGrandTour This event proved one thing- Pune can function smoothly when enforcement is consistent.
Public cooperates for the greater good. now hoping authorities keep this standard every day, not only for events.
Suddenly people are talking about Copper and Uranium investments. Not only Gen Zs but matured Millennials are also asking due to FOMO.
Few days ago I wrote on same craziness. https://t.co/v50mWkI2J5
New beginnings don’t need big promises — just calm intent and steady steps.
Wishing you a year filled with good health and quiet progress.
Happy New Year to you and your loved ones 🌟

Most FIRE calculators are lying to Indians. Not deliberately — but by oversimplifying real life.
They assume stable expenses, smooth inflation, no career breaks and no health shocks. That’s not how Indian lives work. Our expenses don’t grow in straight lines. They jump.
Most calculators also ignore taxes, healthcare inflation and the emotional angle of real estate.
So when someone says, “I will retire at 45 with ₹5 cr,” what they really mean is, “I hope nothing changes.”
FIRE is not about quitting work fast. It’s about reaching a point where money worries reduce and choices increase.
Because this bridge is non-functional, vehicles are forced to divert via Rakshak Chowk to reach Baner–Balewadi.
Instead of fixing the existing problem, the administration chose to “sense an opportunity” and started yet another bridge at Rakshak Chowk.
Had the original bridge been functional, there was no justification for building a new one here.
As usual, daily commuters are paying the price. During peak hours, crossing Rakshak Chowk now takes 25–30 minutes for what should be a 2-minute stretch.
Poor planning, zero accountability, and taxpayers money exploited at every possible opportunity.
IndiGo (InterGlobe Aviation) has 20% weight in the Nifty India Tourism Index.
With the stock down ~10% due to the ongoing crisis, index investors face unavoidable concentration risk.

Actually state leadership is not interested for such small issues as they have big issues in hand..to retain power by all means.
Powerful locals from all areas and from all parties behave like they are king of the area. Most of the problems are created by this class. So city and people don’t have any options except to adjust with this situation.
