@Uber_Support Hi, I am being asked to take a mask verification phot, but my phone camera is broken and crashes the app everytime I try. Is there any way to work around this? It's extremely disruptive to my commute.
What does it look like when we visualize the mechanics of a world-class player? Here's the spray pattern for @astralisgg's @Xyp9x when using the AK-47.
Red line is the "optimal" spray pattern, relative to the first bullet shot, while Xyp's spray is shown by the white line.
What if you could use data to identify microadjustments to your spray pattern?
Red is a "perfect" spray, white is a user's spray, and the white arrow is an adjustment.
@Hiderdk@wessonmo@Enyx_cs@SixteenZero@HLTVorg We will release a blog post on the subject since this is quite complicated, but we do use the round-win probability as an input to the model... so if you've read the previous articles on PRI, a version of that model is an input for each event/round that impacts the map win prob.
@Enyx_cs@wessonmo@SixteenZero@HLTVorg predicts whether the team is going to win. HLTV's model would treat all 5-10 scenarios on a given side/map the same, where our model would have different win probabilities based on the economy and # of players alive on each team.
@Enyx_cs@wessonmo@SixteenZero@HLTVorg I believe HLTV builds their map win probabilities by counting historical data (i.e. finding all instances of a team with round score 5 to 10 and observing how often each teams wins). Mitch can expand on this, but we build a model that takes all of the factors Mitch listed and...
Has anyone ever seen source code for generating recoil patterns from weapon information (namely RecoilSeed, RecoilAngle, RecoilAngleVariance, RecoilMagnitude, etc.)?
Hey @flagstar, random idea: why don't you avoid locking new, involuntary customers out of their bank accounts for 4 days (and counting) when you purchase accounts from other banks? And then build a support line that is more than a prerecorded message and an autodisconnect.
Since we're going to take a rain check on By the Numbers for this week, I'll drop this gem here:
I heard from a reliable source that the chicken who was doing predictions at the FACEIT Major had a handler paid £500 a day, same as at least one of the talent.
Today, we saw a player live up to his name and totally forsake sportsmanship by cheating at a LAN. Since forsaken has a somewhat considerable LAN history, we decided to dig into some of the statistics behind his play to see if there's anything to learn about cheating in CSGO.
@tomi @SPUNJ My favorite example of this is definitely US Olympic athletes in the Olympic opening ceremony recording it as they walked around... There are literally people getting paid to do that for you.
1/ So @mousesports benched Snax for STYKO. Since we've seen this roster play together before, let's take a look at some of the stylistic differences before and after Snax joined the team.
For this thread, we'll look at only LAN play. We're looking at 49 maps with Snax and the...
