@SankofaBrown A better world is possible, but we have to face huge challenges, giant revolutions and incredible risks heheheh.

@kytart@number_pizza111 I understood that most Czechs from Prague also do not know exactly where Moravia is,
because they always drive their Škoda at 100km/h when they head, against all risks, to Orava.😊
@OilBar0n This only makes sense in the USA or in German ("siebenundsechzig")🤡
Otherwise he should have been born on the 6th of July.😌
George W. Bush is born on July 6th!
And Nancy Reagan. And 50 Cent, and Frida Kahlo, and Sly Stallone.🥳
(and me)☺️
@IndiCannArabica@Gerd_growth Die "Ukraine-Krise".😇
@MannyMarotta It gets better.😊
Persian ranked lower than Russian or Pakistani cuisine!?
Never tried Belgian or Romanian cuisine!?
Like French fries and barbecue?
(Or the 200 other things from Belgium or Romania)😳
Matt [...] argued that 16 year old girls should get pregnant because it is “when they're at their most fertile”🤷🏻♂️
@ChrisMansos@GermanSimply_ "Das Pferd frisst keinen Gurkensalat" is also not a sentence Germans would say, nevertheless it is correct. (and famous)😃
"Ich bin so heiß wie ein Vulkan" on the other hand is something you'll hear all year long.
(it's the beginning of a classic party song - "Samba" maybe?)🌻
@nickc0r3@RogerGeissler@chribreuer The explanation is very helpful for a lot of people.🙌🏻
(I would have picked something like Szolnok, though.
And "Szolnokfrom, Szolnokin, Szolnokon"☺️)
@galaktikvacsora@chribreuer I think that is more close to reality.😊
Hungarians in Germany saying:
"Gib das Baby für mich!" instead of "Gib MIR das Baby!"
(because in Hungarian it's both "Add nekem a bébit")🥹
@late2L3 Strange thing to say about Romanian, where the internationally most famous words are:
Ionel, IONELULE! (Nom, Voc.)
Numai nu MA iei (Acc.)
...IMI amintesc de ochii EEEii (Dat., Gen.)😊
(my original examples were even more famous, but more obscene. They had all 5 cases, too)☺️
@abs_sg Strange thing to say about a language, where the internationally most famous words are:
Ionel, IONELULE! (Nom, Voc.)
Numai nu MA iei (Acc.)
...Imi amintesc de ochii eeeii (Dat., Gen.)😊
(my original examples were even more famous, but more obscene. They had all the cases, too)☺️

@simongerman600 The numbers are highly implausible.🤷🏻♂️
Was the question "do you speak at least 3 languages at C1-level?"
Because otherwise, in Europe, people learn 2 languages at home and two in school, so practically everybody speaks 4 languages *badly*☺️
N-est ce pas?
@vanamerongen@abajkovMKD@simongerman600 The numbers look made-up. They are highly unplausible and do not explain anything.
They are also not explained. Differences between neighbouring countries are only understandable in few cases, but then the numbers are again... weird.
