The gate to get out of the Eagles lot was closed after the Flyers game tonight, so these great Philadelphian heroes propped up some metal barricades to use as ladders ๐ซก
@GoBirds85@HalToHell Nobody. All 500 HR or 300 W guys with no steroid allegations are in or will be in, and thereโs only 2 across all 4 of those major milestones who arenโt current or future HOFers without steroid allegations (and Schilling might get in on a vet committee vote in the future anyway)
@HalToHell@GoBirds85 There are only 2 guys w/500 HR, 3000 H, 300 W, or 3000 K & no steroid allegations who aren't current or future HOFers: Pete Rose & Schilling. Baseball writers love rewarding players who make it to major milestones without steroids (& without being an asshole)! It's not that deep!
@Chickie31976@HowieBurner He's actually a playoff riser. Since joining the Phillies, his regular season slash line is .280/.384/.526 and his postseason slash line is .311/.431/.659
@HalToHell Schwarber has a solid chance to both reach 500 HR and to break the all-time career postseason HR record (he's only 6 away from Manny), all without steroid allegations. Do you really think the writers would leave him out because of his WAR if that happened?
The @Phillies are the second team in MLB history to have a player hit for the cycle (Bryce Harper) and a player hit 3 homers (Kyle Schwarber) in the same game.
The other was the Yankees on June 3, 1932 (Tony Lazzeri cycle, Lou Gehrig 4 homers).
@MalcolmRing1234@rymunyun@Chris_ApTx Here's a helpful frame for you- Hart clearly watches the ball go in the net before launching himself into Kornet's path. Kornet also sees the ball go in, so he has no reason to expect Hart to go for the ball. Hart is clearly either trying to delay the inbound or instigating
