I wouldn’t say feminism should be sex-negative. The problem is that it is afraid to be political. Many feminists don’t want their intimate lives with men politicised beyond ‘low-hanging fruit’ like household chores.

For e.g when you analyse casual sex culture, it becomes clear that while women’s sexual views have become more laissez-faire, men’s attitudes towards sex have not necessarily progressed. Men can retain violent views of women and still participate freely in casual sex. If you Point this out, and the response is: who cares, as long as the woman wants the sex
