@GergelyOrosz Depends on what you’re building. I’m fine with building a tool or an experimental feature while accumulating tech debt and even not paying it back. However, knowledge debt is what’s worrying. It’s hard to maintain something long term that you dont fully understand.
@GoldsteinRec The sporting advantage they gained was that they can spend badly and not be impacted. Mangala, Philips, Nunes, Marmoush, Grealish… other EPL clubs cannot do the same as they have limited funds. Add on top of that the crazy wages. Failures of other clubs doesn’t change this.
@IanDoyleSport While they built a squad that won some of their titles on merit, the resources they had and shady deals they made put them in that position. Without what they did they wouldn’t have had a successful project nor will they have these titles. You can’t decouple the two ideas.
@htomufc We’re an unserious club. We have periods where Bruno carries us and we pretend we’re good. We’re terrible at recruitment (players and managers), we have no plan, we change play styles every couple of years. Any analysis of this club is a waste of time. United had long been dead.
@rajsinghchohan My take is that he probably wants to save all his energy for AFCON to get an international trophy while playing at a somewhat decent league.
@TheAthleticFC We’re talking about a player on the verge of breaking the assist record while creating 100+ chances in an average team where he played the first half of the season as a deep midfielder. When the EPL teams could win all three European cups. Yet, he decides to write this bullshit.
@sharghzadeh Otherwise, it’s like the 12-day war again and there isn’t a guarantee that another war won’t start in 2 months. I think they will compromise on the nuclear program and US presence because they’re not suicidal, but if they don’t get the Strait then they don’t have anything.
@sharghzadeh You cannot start negotiations with concessions. You start with high demands and you reach reasonable ones at the end. They want control over the strait as a form of deterrence that they cannot establish militarily. The enrichment and the US military presence is negotiable.
@sharghzadeh The US went into the negotiations by agreeing to the 10-point proposal and then changed their mind because it doesn’t align with Israeli interests. The Iranians didn’t “win” the war and they also didn’t lose it. They need to maximize their gains.
@JorgeCastilloPr A few weeks ago I wrote an article about parallelizing our Maestro suite. We were able to cut the execution time by ~80%. If you’re using Maestro it will really enable you to do more for less:

@jeremywei@karpathy I am encountering something similar recently. I review the code intently, but since I didn’t write it myself I misremember it. It’s like reviewing a PR where you make sure the code follows a standard and achieves the goal but you don’t keep the context between subsequent reviews.
@JorgeCastilloPr It also signals to the team that you trust them and trust their approach despite having reservations. Long term, this is a better approach as the team tends to listen more and not dread PR reviews.
@maxplaining Max won 19/22 races in 2023. His teammate Perez won 2 and Sainz won the remaining race. I have never watched anything as bad as that year.
