@itssotsot@theo If you like the bots approach, you would love K2 by Alakazam Labs. As a developer I love Theoβs approach.
For building long-lived agents I like K2 more.
@theo I like this idea. Because if you ever became a target your internal systems would be so customized people would struggle to get through.
Thinking back to when you said βitβs hard to trust dependenciesβ I think this is in the same vein of thought as well at this point TBH.
@theo Just watched this and I feel obligated to share that I'm probably that guy building something insane cause I am in that grey area or not being a full time programmer, but being a total IT nerd my whole life.
Thanks for inspiring me to think bigger with your content!!
I'm imagining a future where computers we own are stored in local mini-data centers that have excellent power and internet redundancy so our personal hardware has more reliable infra for systems/tools that we will begin to rely on.
Pretty sure that instead of buying "finished products" from big brands, we'll be buying licenses to use the IP of their big titles. Especially in the games area right now.
These companies will start selling licenses as a monthly subscription to use their IP.
@aksheyd@RoseT909 I can't get through a single large task with things compacting at ~205K and I can't figure out how to fix it even with /context-window 500K it's really not working right. Still compacts at 80% of 256K regardless.
I've been setting my context window to 500K but it's just not working. It "flips back" to 256K and still ends up compacting at 80% of 256K instead of 500K.
Having to move back to Claude because to finish a complex thought + task ALWAYS take more thank 200K.
Even my subagents are having to aggressively compact all the time. Please help fix this!! Having to move back to Claude for heavier dev work.
