@Tcvnurse @MistyBRRT @DrSandman11 Big fan of IS, but I’m not sure I’d say “it works” for this. Both because atelectasis != fever, and IS isn’t proven to reduce postop complications https://t.co/A4yL7YxXIb. https://t.co/GdVdzAOtqS
@NYTimesWordplay New issue that wasn’t in the prior version, if you use a letter twice, only one shows up as yellow if it’s in the wrong location and the other shows up as black (ie not in the word). It should be yellow or green.
@aribindi@eemoin Oh my goodness don’t give fluids to right sided problems. (Assuming RV afterload is part of the problem: as it is in 99% of the right sided problems I see).
@jewish_voice Finally, we’ve found a way to bring these errant Jews to Christ: glowing interviews with their heroes, like psychotic-insurrectionist-pillow-shyster Mike Lindell.
@christinek2010@arikalisanne@zrla8@lapublichealth@pfizer Please stop spreading misinformation if you know very little about this. Anaphylaxis has occurred but is incredibly rare. People can receive either of the 2 current FDA approved vaccines, and should receive the same vaccine twice.
@M_Maze@lapublichealth@CountyofLA Hospitalizations and deaths come after diagnosis. We’re seeing a lot of folks getting hospitalized and doing right now.
@bryanboling@nickmmark@COREIMpodcast Unfortunately multiple infection prevention guidelines recommend against ultrasound gel warmers due to bacterial infection risk (https://t.co/J44bFcKX0z). but the sterile packet in the pocket skirts this issue!
@richardhowardd@lljb99@AdrianCanadrian @jobreauxx @karinagw I’m an ICU physician and advanced CPR is part of my daily toolbox. It starts when breathing and pulses stop = death, but sometimes reversible. We have a saying during a code: “they can’t get more dead”. We often don’t know neurologic outcome until days later if pulses return.
@KevinBerger@NateSilver538 This isn’t necessarily true, and probably won’t be true: we just don’t know yet the effect on transmissibility, hence being cautious with the available data.
