@pizzagoyf I will take the bait: UB is not bad cuz SpongeBob. UB Is bad cuz slop. UB is low effort design. UB is compromised by usage contracts and promo timelines. UB outsources creativity AND fanbase. Eventually you will own neither. UB can kill magic for good faster than anything else.

@CanMack1 It’s always about incentives. Try to align the incentives and you’ll see why. Magic without UB has a long term incentive that outweighs the short term ones. UB upends that and misaligns basically all of the incentives for developing a consistently healthy competitive scene.
