@_brinxinx While she was tired taking care of you, you were planning a divorce behind her - while dealing with cancer. I think you left out couple of important paragraphs from this story.
Actually no one in my field is pessimistic right now - like I said, we need all the help we can get. No one has seen the future. There maybe quantum computing in 5 years and it maybe infinitely better. As we sit today, I do not see anything out there - in production or pipeline that worries me.
@SRPatriot74@r0ck3t23@IfindRetards@grok Haha…out of words huh? We already know you cannot think for yourself. Keep doing righty tighty and act not so mighty…lol.
@SRPatriot74@r0ck3t23 Hahah… you make me laugh man.. so insecure. I can make fun of you but don’t want to disrespect hard working tradesmen that I know and respect.
@SRPatriot74@r0ck3t23@IfindRetards Hahah… read your own grok comments. Looks like you are having hard time understanding it. What can you do as a tradesman that AI robot won’t be able to? - Perhaps better with less mistakes and work 24/7…lol.
@SRPatriot74@r0ck3t23 Haha…went straight to dumb and little fella comments…lol. Don’t worry, I live in same society- I understand the inferiority complex. Plumber will always be called a plumber on golf courses no matter how much money he makes.
@SRPatriot74@r0ck3t23 Sure, being in medical profession I may be biased as to only seeing people who are suffering but I see lot of tradesmen with back issues, knee and hips needing replacement. If AI can flawlessly replace a radiologist it would be good enough to replace a tradesman with AI robot.
@Wrongphobic@r0ck3t23 I mean all of us die in the end, so everything ends eventually. If AI can work so flawlessly to replace a radiologist - it would be so good that no job will exist including whatever you do or plan to do.
@SRPatriot74@r0ck3t23 I totally respect tradesman. But I unfortunately see lot of them as patients with completely broken down bodies and several addicted to lifelong pain medications. Some do make out fine but majority suffer consequences eventually.
Radiologists would not be replaced. Just evolve. Not that long ago we used to read films hanging in front of light and now we look inside coronaries on routine basis. People throw radiologist name out there but do not realize that Radiology is not a low hanging fruit - NP/PCP type of jobs are.
@HarridenceGary@ignorantmusings@r0ck3t23 Let me know when people sign up to be prosecuted by AI. Right now AI cannot even do a proper literature search for lawyers without making up fake case references.
@ignorantmusings@r0ck3t23 Radiology would be the last. Just cause it involves looking at image and you can make images on ChatGPT does not mean it’s replacing us. It’s not that straightforward. Again, if you tell me what you do for living I can explain it in terms you may understand.
@ignorantmusings@Champloo7Radio@r0ck3t23 So AI does not hallucinate and start making up stuff? AI calls a tumor in abdomen on CT and AI robot goes in there and out comes your normal liver….lol. This is the world you envision? 😂. I have seen current models do that btw - call a normal lobe of liver a mass….lol
@Sierracruiser1@dinot1932@r0ck3t23 This part I agree. I think medical specialists that have been doing fringe medicine and just following a flow chart - primary care, lot of stuff NPs do, allergy, rheumatology, etc are at very high risk of losing ground to AI.
