Chicago Sky guard Natasha Cloud on Threads following the incident with Enes Kanter last night:
"To every trans kid/person,
You are apart of MY community & tribe. You belong. You’re loved. You’re seen. You’re perfect as you are.
& you will always be protected by me."
If you can’t see the difference between a man who went to prison, served his time, and came out a changed man incredibly remorseful for what he did, and a man who has continued to show no remorse, has never apologized or served time, and got a quarter of a billion dollars guaranteed, then you’re being willfully obtuse
when the top-2 reasons that a QB won a preseason QB competition are:
1. he's easier to bench early in the year
2. our first two games are on the road
then man... it's as bad as it can get
The Deshaun Watson trade turning into one of the most disastrous decisions in the history of pro sports is probably one of the most feel good stories in the NFL this century. Right up there with New Orleans winning a Super Bowl after Katrina.
Naming Deshaun Watson your starting QB in 2026 is probably the most egregiously gross thing a sports franchise has done in my lifetime. And the fact “Deshaun Watson” is still a thing, largely because of the almighty dollar, is an incredible condemnation of sport in general
so domestically american with 68% of the grid not being american and 52% using a japanese engine manufacturer and 100% of the cars being by an italian manufacturer and have also famously had races in australia, brazil and japan
The most revealing part about this clip to me is that before being caught not knowing any other WNBA players, the transphobes all *pretend* that they follow the sport, because they know that it's integral to the grift they're trying to pull that people think they do.
