Today we had visitors from Cambridge - Tobias_Grosser, Markus Böck @zero9178 & Sasha Lopoukhine @superlopuh who gave a talk on Quidditch https://t.co/exq5RL57DP, their MLIR-based & xDSL-based https://t.co/OGR3vXpxvj deep learning compilers targeting Occamy. Here is us at lunch😀.
Interested in Verified EDA Compilation? Yann Herklotz's Tech-Talk "Hyperblock Scheduling for Verified High-Level Synthesis" will kick off our compiler social on Wed, Jun 19th. Join us to chat about compilers while enjoying Italian food & refreshments @Cambridge_CL!
@filpizlo The existing accurate GC passes in LLVM (https://t.co/wHWjdqNdFl) does the same. I'd be surprised if it were the only place in LLVM to do so. Seems like the kind of thing everyone loves to reimplement :-)
@__phantomderp Ran into this many times as well. On windows if it's a pure compile process of just one source file, that most importantly does NOT link, it should stay in process IIRC
@__phantomderp I see the code handling both cases of MinGW and MSVC based triples which are the two production ways you can run Clang on Windows and therefore "complete".
Am I missing something? What triple is missing?
Congrats to Gábor Horváth, Shafik Yaghmour, and Markus Böck for being recognized by the 2023 Google Open Source Peer Bonus Program for their work with the LLVM Project! https://t.co/YFUukUdhvj @shafikyaghmour@XazaxHun
@meetingcpp @cvtsi2sd If you know it'll be valid json at some point, wouldn't it suffice to check the balance of brackets and braces to know once it has been fully transmitted? Besides the trivial case of a single element json.
@Cor3ntin Id just like to interject for a moment. What you're referring to as Zero Overhead Abstractions is in fact "Relying on the Optimizer" ™. (and compilers are doing a great job at it)
@mattgodbolt You seem to be building gdb as well which since commit 0fb8bb022e4e8ed0775fb7c753d912283253d383 (very recently) now requires gmp at all times
@lefticus@olafurw You should be able to use a y combinator to get the lambda from within itself. Maybe there's then a way to check if an lvalue is part of the lambda storage.
@Cor3ntin Noctua fans with their poop brown and beige are I ironically my favorite fans and somehow scream out quality inside an eg. Black case. Got like 7 of them in mine lol
@lefticus@rob_brink https://t.co/9SXHXjI57t shameless self plug but since you are using CLion my plugin should work for you. Use with clang for the best result. Uses clang coverage + CLions C++ AST to calculate branch coverage. GCC works heuristically as well
