@Artytush@GlitchedDeals It's alright if you want a small screen. Most people prefer 27 inch or 32 inch these days. Also it's only 1080p and a lot of people have moved onto 1440 or 4k
@JrALIMM@Preston354@Wario64 Perfectly fine. The only thing I'm not a big fan of is the amount of RAM. It's not a huge deal though. The RAM can be upgraded down the line and 16GB is still fine for most tasks (unless you do what I do, I have 96GB lol)
@DannyMacFinn@Icehelmet This is a Virtual Shadow Map (VSM) issue.

They're not really ready for production games yet, but everyone insists on using them despite traditional shadow methods still existing in engine.
@Mr_Ultimate_@MschulmeisterM@Amanseeks I completely agree. It is possible to do more stylized rendering with it, but that takes time, effort, and a bit of skill, all of which cost money lol. traditional light probes are still in engine and it is source viewable so you can even make your own system, but again... Money
@Mr_Ultimate_@MschulmeisterM@Amanseeks It is. But the publishers like to mandate the use of new tech. Lumen in particular negates a lot of time investment in lighting at the cost of performance, so higher ups love it.
@Mr_Ultimate_@MschulmeisterM@Amanseeks Most of these effects I have mentioned are present and not fully disable-able in "finished" games like Oblivion. I am speaking on an engine level. All of these are development choices that are made. You cannot even disable Lumen or TAA in most games, but you easily can in engine.
@Mr_Ultimate_@MschulmeisterM@Amanseeks No. You can turn off temporal effects (TSR) and VSM and lose artifacting pretty quickly. Obviously TAA will also cause some and upscalers like DLSS, FSR, and XESS can cause it as well. None of these are mandatory. I could make a scene in UE5 that looks like it's from the PS3
@MschulmeisterM@Mr_Ultimate_@Amanseeks None of its forced. You can even switch to forward rendering if you feel like it. Use old hard shadows, MSAA. All of these rendering techniques are choices studios are making and not a single one is enforced.
@0oAstro@jasonbotterill "G__N guess the word, what the two letters are which are same"
I hate to say it, but I don't think Gemini was the problem here lol
