wayland-rs is definitely one of the good crates that interface things Linux in good way, they did it right for modelling callback behavior into Dispatch, compare to pipewire-native-rs, it enable folks to integrate it on whatever event loop they have ..

Hmm, i think somebody need to package arkts pipeline to something like deno or bun like cli. Most of typescript ecosystem already in strict mode most of the time ... the gain will be quite insurmountable ...

@jarredsumner What kind of optimization pipeline bun AOT is currently using? Are the types from typescript hints are being used or this is coming from "js" again? Does it do something like HarmonyOS do for arkts?

Note PSR is stands for Panel Self Refresh. Intel has some great hardware integrations for this one I think they decouple some register to make it easier to track things even power optimization for drm is running, amd currently (i think) dont have similar integrations

I swear to god, dcn 3.5 last kernel codes was so incomplete even compare to dcn version before and after. Seriously, we do have a lot of device on dcn 3.5 right? This should be right since I think steam dev* use this amd zen 5 variant?

The total times that i rebuild and patches kernel is already 10 or 11 times this weekend for the 7.3 rc version. And still on going whether there are other flags that missing hopefully not.

Also turns out the flag for waking up when there is a mouse event for DRM resources arent being set for only and only dcn 3.5 @_@ other version are being set.

So what I see and patches today (tested locally), need to learn a bit about how PSR code for amdgpu are being wired, thanks lord I've been assisted by AI this time.

This makes early boot race if somehow you use greetd + weston + regreet and set weston backend to use drm directly. display will go to sleep before weston try to communicate/init with drm then when weston trying to communicate it will timeout can't wake the display

drm mutex deadlock regarding PSR, there some mitigation patches for suspend and resume, but this one happen because for newer dcn it (gte 3.x) it will set flags to set immideate wake up to false and set the PSR wait duration to 1ms without checking whether PSR enabled or not.
