Plat #391 for Breakout Beyond. Not too much to say about this one... π It's Breakout. Kind of a nice distraction from everything else for a bit. Plus one to knock off the backlog.
Plat #390 for Slots & Daggers. A fun little slot machine / rougelike. I found it surprisingly addictive and enjoyed the gameplay loop. I do wish it was a bit longer and the trophies are fairly easy to get (pretty much just play through the game).
Plat #389 and 100% for Vampire Crawlers. I did this one quite addicting as well! Plus I felt like it did a wonderful job with the dungeon crawler mechanics. Would recommend π
@Kalel12Wesley Totally agree! I just felt more engaged and wanted to decipher Selena's story. Even the house exploration sectons were pretty neat. Plus I think finding primarily her logs from past rums added to that intrigue.
Plat #388 for SAROS. Another great Housemarque game! Trophy list is a lot easier too (with less RNG). I think I enjoyed Returnal's story a bit more though the gameplay is solid for both. Excited to see what they have in store for next π
@wolverine1215_ There is something about it for sure lol. It has some addicting elements (and easy enough to get sidetracked) but I did find myself getting flustered too about some mechanics. Like I loved that the lock picking was different, but man did I get burnt out after a few hundred... π
@wolverine1215_ Haha! Yeah, I definitely had a blast playing it myself. Hopefully not too long of a break between playing again π Its definitely one of those "One more run" kind of games.
How is Chad enjoying Starfield? Any better?
@Koalinhoo Thank you! π Honestly, it wasn't too bad. I was about level 91 when I was all done with everything else. I attempted to farm wildlife on some of the high-level planets but couldn't quite find a good location. So then I just did Incursions, which seemed better and was decent XP.
Plat #387 and 100% for Starfield. Overall I enjoyed it. I think the planet exploration could use a little work (for "exploring"/density of planets), and the loading between different areas was a bit much. Lots of back and forth fast travel, which was cumbersome.
@wolverine1215_ Thank you! Yeah, I think I was a bit spoiled with No Man's Sky for space traversing π It just feels like you are in the menu's too much for traveling; and selecting planets/landing spots just feels clunky. The map just feels like a mess! Hopefully he can tough it out! π
Plat #386 for Clean Up Earth. A pretty relaxing cleaning game. You more or less go around vacuuming up trash in various outdoor locations. Reminded me a lot of the game No Place Like Home but without the farning/crafting. Not too bad but was kind of hoping for a bit more from it.
Plat #385 for Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake. Still easily my favorite FF game. Overall, it's not too tough, but a fair amount of grinding for points to upgrade the camera/buy all the charms at the end. Plus finding all the specters/collectibles π Highly recommend!
