Happy Birthday to Erwin Schrödinger, one of the founders of quantum theory and father of the ubiquitous Schrödinger equation, born 135 yrs ago today.
He was awarded the 1933 Nobel Prize in Physics, along with British physicist Paul Dirac.
On 15 July 1799, Rosetta Stone was discovered by French Captain Bouchard near town of Rashid (Rosetta) during Napoleonic campaign in Egypt. Stone had same message written in three different scripts: hieroglyphics, Egyptian Demotic, and at bottom in ancient Greek.
