@MinutefanJSF @FightMA01003 We are both right. That 250k buyout offer was on the table last football season. It was until Sacramento State joined the conference and took the H&H that Hawaii accepted the deal. They argued the whole time that they wanted a FCS home game to accept the buyout offer.

@MinutefanJSF @FightMA01003 Stonehill worked either way, if Hawaii wouldn't agree to a lower buyout of 250k. As with a Hawaii game, you r allowed a 13th game. Sacramento State took the home & home Hawaii series. Stonehill was scheduled months before Hawaii agreed to the 250k buyout and Sacramento booked it.

@FightMA01003 Well, we are going half the distance to play in Calif. UMass scheduled Stonehill as you said last year. That was good as a 13th game if Hawaii wouldn't budge for that lower 250k figure. Sacramento knew they were voted in and wanted the Hawaii game. It was a win-win.

@shewless11 An enterprise rental for a Toyota Corolla is about 297 for a week at Sacramento and 597 at San Francisco. But the dreaded red eye flight back 11:pm midnight and 11:58am next day arrival with 2+ hours at JFK.

@ReboundRundown You get to play the 8th seed as the reward. Not the second, third, fourth, fifth, sixth or 7th seed. The 8th seed. Your guys slept through the first few plays and were not ready and UMass was, that is how I saw it.

@Sportico What is indirect institutional support, as the student's 11M for 26k undergraduates is $423 & think it compares well national but how do the total figures compare to UConn or BC. The other FBS figures. Be interest to see figures next year, without conference exit & entrance fees.

@GoTeamSportsNet Compare UConn Football budget over the past decade, or year & is it disgraceful the state did to our program. That is one of the many causes of the terrible performance. The state did increase the support this year, thou very small and Don Brown salary is wrong & slanderous, 700k

Think how Jim McCoy started the ball rolling for the Cal Era. @UMassFootball was the path to players & coaches in the NFL as Liam Cohen, Isaiah Rogers & future Pop Watson. Julius was great, Cal brought us back, like the impact you can make!

@FightMA247 21 signed today, 15 being 3 star recruits plus an unrated beast from overseas. The foundation is being built and to keep most of the recruits despite the records is impressive. Credit to the coaching staff in their beliefs, recruiting and getting it done to build the future.
