Finally got around to listening to @naval on Chris Williamson's podcast. I don't get to listen to too many long podcasts, but today I had the opp to listen whilst drive down to LA for customer work. I'm officially Naval-pilled. Two things that stood out to me:

1. Wealth is not a zero-sum game. Status is.
2. It takes 10,000 iterations to be great at something. Guess what, fine-tuning LLMs for your use cases also takes 10,000 iterations to be great. Good news is that iterations are super quick :)

First Modi Govt started taxing portion of EPFO money which used to be completely tax free earlier.

Now they will not let you withdraw your own money for 36 months even in the case of losing a job.

When Govt is done emptying their own pocket after distributing freebies in each election, they're coming after hardworking salaried class savings.

With frequent layoffs and less job in market, this is how Govt is supporting its taxpayers. I'm speechless.

My rapido cab driver has been on calls ON SPEAKER for the last hour.

First, his friend calls him & says the girl he loves actually loves someone else (starts crying), and he can't take it & wants to k*ll himself

So he then calls another friend to immediately go & handle him till he arrives

Then calls another friend to discuss how some other friend tried to scam uber by using his photo & now has his ID blocked

Then calls another friend to complain about how much traffic is in central bangalore.

Then calls another friend to go check on the first friend (who wants to k*ll himself) & also gives a 5-min gyaan on love & relationships

Then calls his own girlfriend to give all the above updates

This man has a more interesting social circle than anyone I know
