The Alien Enemies Act is a wartime authority that can be used against any noncitizen from a country at war with the United States, regardless of whether they are in the country legally or not. Its use here for immigration enforcement purposes is flagrantly unlawful.

On Fred Korematsu Day, here are some of my relatives who were imprisoned under EO9066, incl my mom who was born in a camp. My great grandfather was imprisoned as an “enemy alien” by the FBI. Trump is trying to bring back the Alien Enemies Act to deport ppl in 2025. Fight back 💫

The situation in Jacumba's open-air migrant encampment is getting worse by the hour. The temperature at night is in the low 40s, and it feels much colder because of the low humidity and wind. There are babies and pregnant women there who wait for several days just to be processed. There are no medics, no food, and no shelter. Smugglers are exploiting the situation and are recruiting ppl from all over the world with promises of easy passage; Congress is about to take their holidays vacay; and Admin is worried only about PR.
