JUST IN | Pro-democracy activist Godfrey Karembera, also known as Madzibaba Veshanduko, is 47 years old and very sick in prison.

Reports say prison officials are not allowing him to get private medical care.

He was taken from his home and tortured, then left at a police station and accused of handing out flyers that supported anti-government protests organized by war veteran Blessed Geza.

According to people in the prison, Karembera first had trouble urinating, and now he can’t urinate at all.
