This resulted in me being charged twice for the same ride.
This is clearly unfair and against Uber’s policies. I request a full refund of the extra amount charged and appropriate action against the driver for demanding cash outside the app.

I want to report a serious issue regarding a ride I took on 6 April 2026 from my home to Hyderabad Airport.

The fare shown in the app at the time of booking was ₹494.61. However, before pickup, the driver called me and insisted on a higher fare.

As I was in a rush to catch my flight, I reluctantly agreed to pay ₹750. After completing the ride, I paid the driver ₹750 via UPI as agreed. However, my Uber account was linked to Amazon Pay, and Uber still deducted the original fare of ₹494.61 + ₹7.91 automatically.
