Superchain project Highlight: @velodromefi 🚲

​Velodrome is the trading and liquidity marketplace of the Superchain and is deployed on over 10 OP Stack chains, including OP Mainnet, @soneium, @LiskHQ , and @superseed, Velodrome is the liquidity engine driving DeFi across the Superchain.​

Velodrome is powered by the MetaDEX Model, which uniquely aligns the incentives of traders, liquidity providers, and token lockers to fuel enduring growth. Emissions are an essential part of the model, ensuring that those who actively contribute are actively rewarded.

$VELO is distributed to liquidity providers through these emissions. Users can then lock $VELO to receive veVELO, this system incentivizes long-term commitment, as the longer tokens are locked, the greater the voting power and rewards.

Now, @velodromeFi emissions will mature into the next phase: Dynamic Emissions determined by veVELO voters.

Enter the Velodrome FED (Flywheel Emissions Distribution)🚴

Velo FED is a governing body that can nudge the emissions rate in response to market dynamics. This mechanism will put power back in the hands of veVelo holders. Emissions will be determined by active participants who have a strong incentive to maintain a balanced and sustainable strategy.

As the Superchain grows and Velodrome expands further across it, $VELO emissions will be used to catalyze a new stage of strategic liquidity growth and help ensure global dominance by:

• Support new Superchain Chains
• Reduce Liquidity Fragmentation
• Scale efficiently with the Superchain

Looking ahead with Superchain Interop coming soon, Velodrome will continue to scale as the Superchain grows, with plans to integrate across the ecosystem to deepen liquidity, implement cross-chain voting, and align liquidity incentives.

Velodrome will enhance the Superchain Experience not just through interoperability, but a UX that makes it feel like you're using a single chain.
