That's exactly the problem. 1 in 9 nurses left the NHS in 2021. Many go abroad or retrain in other fields. Only 21% of nurses say there are enough staff to do their jobs properly. Unsafe staffing levels harm us all. Pay them their worth.

Just the health secretary openly asserting that a newly qualified nurse earns over £31k. But that’s a lie. The Band 5 starting salary is £27,055.

Ironically, a 15% pay rise *would* take that salary to over £31k.

More pertinently though, where is your probity @SteveBarclay?
