Held an excellent meeting with my South Korean counterpart, Ahn Gyu Back in Seoul. We discussed ways to further deepen India–Republic of Korea defence, defence industry and strategic cooperation, with a shared commitment towards regional peace, stability and technological collaboration.

It was a highly productive meeting as India and Korea exchanged Agreements on Promoting Defence Cyber Cooperation, between National Defence College of India and Korea National Defence University of RoK and UN Peacekeeping Cooperation making our partnership stronger and multidimensional.

Looking forward to strengthening the special strategic partnership between our nations.

Bharat Forge and Liebherr-Aerospace launch advanced landing gear machining facility in Pune

The aerospace division of Bharat Forge Ltd today inaugurated a state-of-the-art Landing Gear Components Machining Facility in Mundhwa, Pune (India), developed in collaboration with Liebherr-Aerospace & Transportation SAS. This milestone positions Bharat Forge among the first companies in India, and one of the first at scale – to operate OEM-approved landing gear components machining capabilities.

It integrates advanced machining centres dedicated to high-precision landing-gear components and marks “a significant step towards advancing India's aerospace manufacturing ecosystem and strengthening the country's role in global aerospace supply chains”.

1st Live Jumps of Advanced Parachute System Manufactured by GIL

Gliders India Limited (GIL) has created history by producing a state-of-the-art, highly advanced Parachute System in collaboration with its design partner ADRDE.
Two of these parachute systems, duly inspected by DGAQA and certified by CEMILAC (RCMA Kanpur), put to First Live Jumps on 20 Feb 2026 at Malpura Drop Zone, Agra.
Project team from ADRDE, Representatives of GIL, DGAQA Kanpur and officials of IAF were also present during conduct of live jumps.
Wg Cdr Rahul Jha, Chief Test Jumper and MWO R J Singh, Test Jumper from ADRDE undertook these jumps in high altitude mode confirming its tactical employability in high altitude terrain thus enhancing operational capabilities of our airborne forces exponentially.
This versatile advance parachute system offers multiple mode of deployment giving it a wide range of operational altitude. This successful project will give impetus to efforts of GIL under able leadership of Sri M. C. Balasubramaniam CMD/GIL to provide safe and comfortable solutions to the requirements of Armed Forces of India on priority.

So @RBI finally puts out the rules for preventing misselling by banks.

That the sale must be 'suitable' is a step forward but is not enough for investor protection. Unless the regulator defines and fleshes out suitability, it will not work.
Leaving banks to interpret it is like allowing wolves to decide on the thickness of the hen coop.

Day 1 of the AI Impact Summit turned to be a pain for us.

I came genuinely excited, it was the first time the summit was being hosted in India, and I wanted to show up personally to support the ecosystem and the government’s push.

But what happened next was shocking.

At 12 noon, security personnel arrived to sanitise and cordon off the area ahead of the visit by PM Modi visit at 2pm.

I explained that we’re building India’s first patented AI wearable at NeoSapien and requested a chance to showcase it.

One officer told others to let me stay, and they left.

Then another group came and ordered us to leave immediately. Seemed like there was lack of co-ordination between the security itself.

I asked: “Should we take our wearables?”

They said, others are leaving even laptops behind, security will take care.

Trusting them, I left. Hoping that the wearables will be safe, and If I am lucky, it might catch the eye of PM Modi.

Gates were closed from 12–6pm. Much much longer than expected.

Later we found out that our wearables were stolen.

Think about this: We paid for flights, accommodation, logistics and even the booth. Only to see our wearables disappear inside a high-security zone.

If only security and official entourage had access, how did this happen?

This is extremely disappointing.
