On a personal note: It’s been over a year since I took on the role at MemeCore, and I’ve truly enjoyed every step of the journey. I’m grateful to work with such a talented and passionate team, and deeply thankful to all the friends, peers, communities, and partners who have supported us throughout.

We have never believed that taking a different path simply because it differs from others is a mistake. From the beginning, our commitment has been clear: to put the community first, not as a slogan, but as a principle that guides every major decision we make. We continue to ask ourselves a simple question: what creates the most meaningful and lasting value for the community that supports this project?

The true value of any project is not determined by short-term attention, headline valuations, or how much profit the foundation can extract. It is built on trust. In the same way that belief gives a currency its value, we believe the long-term strength of this project comes from the confidence, conviction, and support of our community. Protecting that trust is more important to us than pursuing easy gains. We are not here to take advantage of short-term opportunities at the expense of long-term credibility.

Some may look at our valuation and question it. We understand that perspective. But our responsibility does not end with creating momentum. Our responsibility is to strengthen the ecosystem around this project, contribute to a healthier market, and build something that can endure. We chose this direction because the blockchain industry has seen too many projects driven by speculation, short-term hype, and pump-and-dump behavior. We want to help set a different standard for what a project can be.

Although we began as a meme, our ambition goes far beyond that label. We believe a meme project can do more than capture attention. It can also create culture, build trust, and contribute to a healthier market environment. That is the standard we intend to uphold.

Since launch, we have seen countless projects emerge. Many attracted more attention than we did after their TGE, but many also disappeared just as quickly. We are not here to make empty promises or suggest that everyone will become wealthy. What we are building is a project where dedication, belief, and meaningful participation are treated fairly and recognized as real value over time.

That is the path we have chosen. It may not be the easiest path, but we believe it is the right one.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Jaehyun Kim, Co-lead of Superteam Korea, on April 9, 2026.

The funeral has been concluded in peace. We kindly ask for your understanding for the delayed notice as we focused on honoring his final journey.

Jaehyun was an integral part of our organization. As a leader, he provided unsparing support, guidance, and vision that helped shape our community. His dedication to the team and his warmth will be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege of working alongside him.

Our thoughts and deepest condolences go out to his family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time.
