i can't remember who, but when i was in college, someone older once told me that as a student, your #1 weapon is being able to shamelessly reach out to anyone you want with any questions you have/advice you need and it honestly unlocked so much for me
The more I learn Spanish, the more I learn words I can't live without, other ways to express myself that I can't really say in English. I think that's the best part of learning a language is finding expressions and words that don't really translate easily
Whether you're learning French in school, taking up Spanish at university, retraining in Arabic for your job or discovering Mandarin in your 50s or 60s just because you can, languages grow your mind & your world. Learning languages has no age limit. It's a lifelong pursuit.
In every language I have learned or tried to learn, the interest level of the content I was learning from was far more important than the difficulty level, & the most important factor keeping me engaged with the language.
I was productive today!
-a chapter of my French course
-a chapter of my Japanese course
-a Korean story on Beelinguapp
-a Spanish story on Beelinguapp
-Spanish lessons on Duolingo
-French study on Speakly
-finished a novel
-some matches on Polygloss
I am now counting watching terrace house as Japanese learning session!
I don't have much time to study with books or grammar videos and this reality show is SOOOO great for immersion! all the conversations felt natural, the show is really entertaining too☆
Jumat kemaren ada agenda capacity building di tengah rusuhnya persiapan project minggu depan. Menyadarkan (kembali) betapa serunya belajar!! alhamdulillah so happy semoga ada kesempatan serupa lebih banyak☆
