“Reacher” has a large contingency of Conservatives who watch his show. I’ll be curious to see if they stick with him after he’s attacked them and what they stand for.
Dr Fauci and Mr. Science
The Fauci files reveal not just a sociopathic narcissist, but also a pathological schizophrenic.
For years, Fauci was assuring the public of Covid narratives that he either knew were untrue, or knew little about.
He posed as a non-partisan, even as he collaborated with the leftwing cable news grandees and liberal columnists to hound his enemies and magnify his godhead.
From the virus’s origins and effects of the lockdowns, to the efficacy of the mRNA vaccinations to the always changing 0/1/2 masks wearing protocols, Fauci used his massive government agency, and sycophantic media, to promote his always fluid narratives by punishing enemies and rewarding friends—on the basis of their loyalty to Dr. “I represent science”.
He seemed to be obsessed with firing White House Covid advisor Scott Atlas, and demonizing Jay Bhattacharya, Sunetra Gupta and Martin Kulldorff—for the crimes of questioning the Fauci party line.
These critics were not radical “let it rip” herd immunologists as the Fauci camp caricatured them, but circumspect, cost-to-benefit doctors and savvy health policy analysts.
Their views, if embraced, might have avoided a multibillion-dollar global shutdown that wrecked economies—especially derailing the booming 4th quarter 2019 Trump economy—increased the death toll, destroyed millions of livelihoods, harmed perhaps permanently the education of millions U.S. children, and was hardly based on the “science”.
And what exactly were the so-called extremist views of Atlas, Bhattacharya, and others?
Healthy children were not at great risk from Covid—but keeping them isolated drained away key resources from the elderly and sick who certainly were vulnerable.
And the nationwide school closures had profound negative effects on children and teens as did the lockdowns on the general population.
Substance and familial abuse soared, small businesses were ruined, and children’s formative educational years were lost.
24/7 mask wearing was neither practical nor necessary as opposed to their beneficial use by health care workers in close proximities.
The experimental mRNA vaccinations may have initially saved lives, but they were not, as billed by Fauci and the pharmaceutical companies, lasting protection from either infectiousness or being infected.
And certainly the repeated booster regimens for some could pose serious health risks.
Herd immunity was not some crank idea, as the Fauci school libeled these experts, but, along with the initial vaccinations, were time-tested medical realities that would mitigate the toxicity of the pandemic.
We have seen a lot of obscene hoaxes recently that changed national events: the loony Jussie Smollett caper; the phony “Steele dossier”; the “51 intelligence authorities” and the Russian-produced Hunter Biden laptop con; and the media fabricated effigy of Joe Biden as “fit as a fiddle”.
But Fauci’s effort to attribute the virus to a bat or pangolin publicly, while privately accepting from his own consultants that it likely was birthed in the Wuhan lab’s gain of function research—which he had helped to support via Peter Daszak—and the policies that resulted from that initial lie, proved literally for thousands a matter of life and death.
.@VDHanson : “We didn’t storm the beaches of Normandy… didn’t bleed and die in the trenches of World War I…. didn’t sacrifice everything in World War II…. just to be lectured by newcomers on why America is ‘racist’ and ‘flawed.’” Victor is right.
A Nigerian Christian gives his testimony after the Islamist massacre of his village:
“All the houses were set on fire and all our grain was burned. This morning we buried 29 people". Why is no one protesting for them?”
To @CNN, you have a short memory. In 2024 you credibly covered that China hacked Great Britain’s voter files. Those files are public like the US. Why was it news then but now disinformation when Trump reveals it happened to Americans? https://t.co/7DBIjgn6fN
ATTENTION EVERYONE IN MEMPHIS TENNESSEE
Tamboli's Pasta & Pizza REFUSED to serve four members of the Tennessee National Guard.
This is the owner, Miles Tamboli.
Would be a shame if everyone in the area knew they kicked out US servicemembers!
President Trump just unloaded on America’s European NATO allies with the world’s media watching.
Sitting beside Turkish President Erdoğan, Trump revealed he was “very disappointed” after several NATO allies refused to assist the U.S. during the Iran conflict.
Then he dropped the bombshell:
He says it was a test to see who would actually stand with America when it mattered.
TRUMP: “I was very disappointed with NATO and frankly if it weren’t held in Turkey, where my friend happens to be a very strong leader, a very strong person, it’s possible that I wouldn’t have attended.”
“I felt I had to attend because of the fact that he’s gone all out, it was a big thing to have NATO come to Turkey or any place else.”
“But we weren’t treated well, because we did something in Iran, we don’t need anybody’s help, I did not even want their help but before I asked, they said they wouldn’t be there.”
“We’ve invested trillions of dollars in NATO. Why?”
“To protect European countries and others, Canada, et cetera but to protect people, countries from generally speaking, used to be Soviet Union and now it’s Russia.”
“And I say that is fine, but you would think they would be willing to do something to help us and they really weren’t.”
“In the case of United Kingdom, the prime minister, I guess no longer there…maybe because of this…it was very unpopular thing he did.”
“He said, no, we’ll help after the war is over. I said, I don’t need that kind of help.”
“In a way I was testing people, I was testing to see whether or not they’d be there because I’ve long said that we help them, but I’m not sure that they’d be there for us.”
“Italy turned us down, and Germany turned us down, France turned us down and that’s okay. But why are we spending hundreds of billions of dollars and they’re not there for us?”
“If Jesus was God, why did He cry?”
When I was Muslim, I used to smirk at the shortest verse in the Bible. A crying God? Weak.
“Jesus wept.” John 11:35. Two words. It should bring you to your knees.
Then I actually read WHERE He’s standing.
At the tomb of His friend Lazarus. And here’s the part that undoes me: He’s about to raise him. In sixty seconds He’ll shout that dead man back to life. The victory is already loaded.
And He weeps ANYWAY.
He didn’t have to. The happy ending was already in His hand.
But He looked at the grief around Him — the sisters, the mourners, the sheer wreckage that death makes of everything — and He entered it. He let it hit Him. God, with tears running down His face, at the graveside of someone He loved.
The God of Islam was too majestic to weep. I was proud of that. Until I met a God who was strong enough to.
“We do not have a high priest who is unable to sympathize with our weaknesses.” Hebrews 4:15.
Whatever you’re burying right now — He’s not watching from a safe distance.
He’s the God who weeps at gravesides.
And then empties them.
Now you and me get to rejoice forever with our Lord Jesus Christ.
If a foreigner hates America, fine. But why then become a citizen here? Better yet, why would the US allow someone to become a citizen who hates the country?
You know what shook me when I was Muslim?
The story of Hosea. God tells a prophet to marry a woman He knows will betray him.
She does. She runs to other men. She ends up enslaved, sold, used up, worthless to the world.
And God tells Hosea to go BUY HER BACK.
To pay money for his own wife who cheated on him, and love her again. Hosea 3.
I thought it was the most humiliating command in the Bible. Why would any man do that?
Then I realized I was the wife.
I gave my heart to everything but God. I chased other masters. I sold myself cheap. I made myself worthless.
And God looked at me, the betrayer, and didn’t say “you’re not worth it.”
He said, “Name the price. I’m buying her back.”
That’s the Gospel. God doesn’t wait for the unfaithful to come crawling back clean.
He pays to redeem them while they’re still dirty.
Islam told me to make myself worthy of God.
Hosea showed me a God who pays to redeem the unworthy.
The cross was Him naming the price.
Praise the Lord.
It's amazing that these decrepit neocon imbeciles have gotten every major issue wrong for 40 years and just absolutely insist on keeping their streak of unbroken wrongness alive at all costs. Yes, 27 million people immigrated here between 1880 and 1924. The difference is that they came here legally, there was no welfare state for them to leach off of, they were not flooding in from dysfunctional lawless third world hellholes, and they actually desired to assimilate into American culture. Oh and we had 250 million fewer people living in the country at the time. So in other words, it was nothing like our current situation. At all. Not remotely.
So we’ve got open voting season, mail-in ballots, no voter ID, no proof of citizenship, ballot harvesting, drop boxes AND birth right citizenship.
Well played, Democrats. The invasion worked.
Meanwhile so-called republicans won’t pass the Save America Act and have backed off mass deportations because it looks “mean.”
